One Direction: The Australian Edition

Chapter 1

“We are here girls! Sydney, get ready for us!” Emily exclaimed as she pulled up outside of the hotel. Emily parked the car & turned around to see the girls asleep on each other after the 12.5 hour road trip all the way from Brisbane.

After the girls had woken up & suitcases were unpacked from the car we all walked up to check into our room. As there were 5 of us we had booked a top suit with connecting rooms so that we could all be together as this was our first holiday together since our year 7 camp. We walked up to check in & the receptionist informed us that we would be moved from the suit to a deluxe room at a lower level. “What? Why?” Jessica questioned the receptionists glaring eyes. He was quick to snap back “We have special guests visiting the hotel in the coming days so you either take the new room or stay somewhere else.” We ended up taking the room on the highest level we could to get a scenic view of Sydney. “Doesn’t this seem a bit suspicious to anyone else?” Natalie queried.

“I do agree with you on that one Natalie, didn’t we also ask for the highest level possible? Though there are 3 levels above us,” doubted Shalima.

“Wait! He said guests were visiting in the coming days, the One Direction boys are arriving tomorrow!” Jacqui exclaimed as she jumped about around the room.

“Oh my gosh, ahhh!” we all fangirled for about 10 minutes as we were all huge One Direction fans, partly the reason we travelled to Sydney to see them at their Sunrise interview. Little did we know they were going to be staying in the same hotel, only 1 level above us.

“This is honestly so surreal. We booked this hotel 3 months ago, what are the chances that we booked into the same hotel as One Direction!” Jessica screamed as we were all still in shock. “We need to keep our key cards on us all the time so we can freely get into the hotel & past security because there will be hundreds of fans lined up outside.”

As it got later in the day the 5 of us decided to walk down to the Official One Direction store that had recently opened so we could buy some merchandise. “Imagine if we did see the boys & got them to sign something, awh that would be incredible!” Shalima  mentioned as we were lining up outside the store.

As we staggered up Macquarie Street with armfuls of bags stamped with “Official One Direction Store,” all we wanted to do was sit down in our room. Though we turned the corner to where Sydney’s Intercontinental was located and all we saw was a street full of screaming fans trying to get past security. “I think the boys might already be here,” Jacqui said trying not to let out a scream. We had to push past all the girls in attempt to get to security to show that we were staying there. As we pulled out our key cards to show security one of the men looked at our arms & chuckled “have a nice stay girls,” knowing that we knew who was also staying at the same hotel.

As we stood waiting for the elevator to come down to take us to our room we chatted away about the boys, we shared our day dreams & future plans with the armful of One Direction merchandise. The doors opened and there stood none other than Niall, Harry, Liam, Zayn & Louis with two of their personal security guards standing either side of the lift in front of the boys.
