A man, probably a security guard walked out from around the corner.
“Ok girls he’ll guide you the rest of the way because we have to go but we’ll see you soon,” Niall said before walking away from the rest of the lads leaving us behind with someone we didn’t even know.
“I’ve been informed by the boys you need to make a line, hold onto each other’s shoulders, someone needs to grab mine and close your eyes,” his deep voice groaned.
We did as we were told even though a part of us was scared to think were we’d be led out to. After walking around a couple of corners the noise of screaming girls started to immediately intensify. “Oh god! We’re going to be put in the middle of a stage in front of the boys,” is the first conclusion we all drew. We could all feel as we were being led out into the open as the temperature dropped slightly and we’d come to a stop. There was some kind of barrier in front of us as we lay our hands down.
“Okay you can open your eyes now,” the man said sweetly.
Jaws dropped and hearts raced as we stood staring out over the crowd. Now this was a surprise! None of us could believe it, I mean The Logies, hottest ticket in town and we had front row. A stage was centred at the beginning of the red carpet with huge bright lights and 5 microphones lined up on stage.
“Ahh, it all makes sense!” Jessica commented.
“Were certainly a little over dressed,” Jacqui said as we turned around to look at everybody else’s attire for the evening. There were One Direction shirts, onsies, people lamping and huge signs as everybody was expressing their love for 1D.
“There’s gotta be a reason, I’m sure we’ll soon find out soon enough,” sarcastically remarked Emily as another delightful surprise loomed in our futures.
Lights flashed, music played and the boys took centre stage. They looked at us smiling every chorus which was quite romantic of them. They walked along the red carpet singing high fiving the fans hands as they passed. They were off stage as quick as they’d gotten on. We sat and listened to every girl go crazy over the incredible performance.
“Psstt, girls! Quick!” Louis tried whispering as he waved his hand to signal us to follow him.
We ducked and weaved through fans as quick as we possibly could hoping they wouldn’t see who signalled. Silly us of course Louis had whispered just a tad too loudly, luckily for us we got out just in time. Security tried holding back as many girls as humanly possible but a handful got through and were chasing after Louis.
“Run!” Louis yelled as we were about to be trampled by a mob of screaming fans.
