One Direction: The Australian Edition

Chapter 10

We followed Preston through secret passages to get backstage to the boys dressing room. As we walked into the room marked “One Direction” none of the boys were in sight. Lying on their individual tables were 5 bunches of roses, one on each table. We approached the table & inside then bunches were small cards with our names written on them. Each of us picked up the card addressed to us & opened them to see what lay inside.

 “A plane ticket?” Shalima said confused.

“Yes, a plane ticket. We were going to ask you but figured it would be more of a surprise if you’d found it,” Liam said from behind.

“So, uhm basically what we’re asking is if you’d like to fly to Melbourne with us?” Harry continued.

“We don’t really want to actually we’d LOVE to!” Jessica said.

“Well we just have to pack up a bit, get out of our stage clothes and then we’ll be back to the hotel. If your girls are willing to stay back for an hour or so we’ll take you back with us?” suggested Louis.

“Sure that sounds great,” replied Jacqui.

We sat back in their dressing room while the boys helped clear some of the props off stage so we decided to call our mums and tell them we won’t be back for a little while longer and because we hadn’t spoken to them since we’d left Brisbane. All of our mums were so happy for us and were over the moon with us flying to Melbourne with them. We called each one of our mums separately and put them on loudspeaker. We called Emily’s mum last and her reaction was the same as the rest of our parents, “But what about the car you girls took down?” Emily’s mum questioned.

“Oh yeah…” the five of us synchronised.

We must have had a puzzled look on our faces as they boys walked in only minutes later as Zayn asked “What’s wrong girls?”

“If we’re going to going to fly to Melbourne what are we going to do with the car we bought down?” Jacqui asked.

“What if we got one of the boys from security to drive it back up to Brisbane for you?” Niall kindly suggested, “I mean were not going to die if were missing 1 person from security & then he can just fly from Brisbane to Melbourne, simple.”

“That would be wonderful, thank you boys,” Emily’s mum said from down the phone line, “Bye girls have fun in Melbourne!” she said before hanging up.

“Yes thank you so much!” we all said as we got up to give the boys a hug.

“This means the world to us, you have no idea,” Natalie said as she hugged Niall.

“We would do anything for you,” Niall replied and then kissed Natalie’s forehead gently.

We arrived back at the Intercontinental so tired and drained from our trip so far, remembering we had to pack for Melbourne tomorrow. Though the boys came up and helped us pack all our stuff so we could get as much sleep as we could before tomorrow. Zipping the suitcases was a little difficult; at least three of us had to sit on each suitcase while one of the boys zipped it up.

“We better let you girls rest for a bit, have a sleep in tomorrow because the plane doesn’t leave for a bit, okay?” Liam made sure and insisted we slept in.

“Though we do have to tell you girls something before we got up to bed,” Zayn mentioned.

We all looked around at each other thinking that we were going to receive bad news.
