One Direction: The Australian Edition

Chapter 7

The letter read:

“Sorry we had to leave you girls last night, you had fallen asleep on our laps & we didn’t want to wake you. Paul came down to get us after he found Harry & Zayn. Us lads had a great time last night, it was amazing to just spend some down time with you lovely girls, we will definitely have to do this again before we leave Sydney. – Liam, Niall & Louis x”

“Awh, how kind of them,” Emily said.

“Well, we have the concert tonight & I don’t want to be too tired so I’m going to just hang around the hotel today,” Jessica voiced her daily plans to the rest of the girls & we all decided that her plans would be best for the rest of us, so hotel day!

We just sat around the hotel until about 10:30 & then decided to get out the bikini’s and go for a dip in the hotel pool. We placed our towels & bags on one of the chairs by the pool & we saw Harry in the gym. He looked up gave us a wave & continued jogging on the treadmill. While in the pool we were talking about what we were going to wear to the One Direction concert tonight & how amazing it would be. About 20 minutes later Lou walked in with Lux with Harry close behind them. Security stood at each pool door denying entry to anyone who wanted to get in. He spent 40 minutes in the pool splashing around & spending time with Lou & Lux. We let him be & admired him from a distance. There were a handful of girls in the pool & by the looks of things they were huge One Direction fans. They could not believe their eyes when Harry walked in & swam for 40 minutes. They all looked at us & you could tell what they were thinking: “Why aren’t they flipping out that Harry is in the same pool as them!” Little did they know we had our own secret with the boys. Harry was still in the pool with Lux as we left. We made it halfway to the elevators before we heard “Wait!” from behind.

Harry came running up the hall towards us still dripping with water. He stood in front of us & caught his breath. “Are you girls still coming to the concert tonight?” he said.

“We most certainly are!” Shalima said smiling as she stared into his warm chocolate eyes.

“Okay well us lads were chatting this morning & we have a surprise for you. Be ready by 3 & we’ll meet you by the lounge in the lobby, okay?” he explained.

We all nodded with grins on our faces. Harry smiled & said “Okay we’ll be seeing you at 3.” He turned back into the direction of the pool. The pool door closed & we all let out a little shriek.

As we returned to the hotel we robbed each other’s suitcases to find the perfect outfit for tonight. “Well we definitely can’t wear our 1D shirts tonight,” stated Natalie. It took a while but we all ended up with beautiful dresses. “Good thing we packed these then,” declared Jacqui

Knowing that we had a surprise looming in our future time seemed to tick so slowly from 12 to 3, but finally it was 2:50 & we made our way down to the lobby, though we did have waiting time.

We sat by the couches in the lobby time watching for 5 minutes. “Tick, tock, tick, tock,” we were all silent as we anxiously waited for the boys arrival. Minutes later we saw 5 tall British boys walk out of the elevator. “Are you ready for your surprise?” Liam smiled.  We all nodded. “Okay but first you have to put these one,” Zayn said as he handed us blindfolds
