“Beep, beep, beep, beep!” the constant beeping of the alarm rebounded from wall to wall throughout our room. We all looked over to the clock at the same time, it read 3am. “Sunrise studios here we come!” Jacqui exclaimed.

“Okay girls, if we want to get a good spot down at the studio we’ll have to leave in about an hour,” explained Emily as she was rummaging through her suitcase to find the newly bought One Direction shirt.

It was 3:50 am as we all walked out of our room with our One Direction tees heading towards the elevators. As we stood waiting still barely awake we heard footsteps from someone above, must have been one of the boys, or Paul maybe. “See you soon boys!” Jessica whispered we all chuckled as we stepped in the elevator ready for one adventurous day.

We arrived at the Sunrise studio at around 5 am & girls were just beginning to arrive, luckily we got there early enough to get front right at the barriers, perfect view of our 5 future husbands. It wasn’t until about 8 o’clock that great news came through, Liam announced a 2013 Arena Tour around Australia. The whole crowd either screamed or cried, there were a lot of mixed reactions but us 5 were ecstatic as we missed out on their Brisbane concert. “This holiday could not get better,” Shalima yelled over the crowd of screaming fans.

It wasn’t until 8:30 am when they arrived at Sunrise. They walked straight up to the glass window waving to the sea of fans. Liam scanned the crowd & gave Niall a little nudge pointing in our direction. By that time Harry, Louis & Zayn had caught on & looked at us waving & smiling like they did the afternoon in the elevator. Niall covered his mouth & whispered into Liam’s ear. “What do you reckon he whispered to Liam,” Natalie shouted over the crowd so the rest of us girls could hear. “Maybe it was something about us,” Jessica replied, grinning at the thought of them talking about us. The boys walked off out of sight with the Sunrise hosts to be interviewed. Though to make sure that Directioner’s outside didn’t miss out on watching them being interviewed Sunrise placed some big TV’s outside so that we could all watch. Watching Niall eat the vegemite toast was definitely a highlight for everyone; the whole crowd was in hysterics.

After the interview had finished they walked back to the glass window and as everyone wanted to be seen by them us 5 were separated in a matter of seconds. It was like an avalanche of people definitely not one of the best One Direction experiences. They waved their last goodbye to the dedicated fans who arrived early just to get a glimpse of them. As soon as they were out of sight everyone receded back to either find their parents & go home or find out where the boys were off to next. Luckily we all bought our phones so finding the girls was pretty simple. “So where are we off to now?” Shalima questioned.

“I don’t think it’s worth following them to the Kyle & Jackie O interview,” said Jacqui “they’re going to be swamped with fans & were only going to have to fight off another crowd.”

“Well since were in Sydney for One Direction we go to Nando’s for Niall. We’ve already been to the store so we could spend our time doing other Directioner-like things,” suggested Natalie. We all thought it was a great idea & that leaving the boys was a good idea.

We arrived at Nando’s & there were a few other girls we recognised from the Sunrise studio with their One Direction shirts, dolls, posters you name it they had it. As we ate our extremely early lunch we talked about their 2013 Arena Tour & how excited we were. “The Up All Night Tour will be good but the Arena Tour will be better!” declared Emily. We spent the rest of the day sightseeing around Sydney; we went to Luna Park for a few hours, had our photo taken on the Opera House stairs & went for a little cruise around the Harbour. By that time we were all exhausted & just wanted to go back to the hotel, luckily the boys were out performing for the winners of the Hot 30 Countdown contest winners so there shouldn’t be any fans outside the hotel lobby.

Turning into Macquarie Street we saw a group of around 20 girls standing waiting for the boys return. We walked up to security & held up our key cards & were freely let through into the lobby. Jessica was dragging the 4 of us up the hallway towards our door but shortly we were all dropped to the ground as she bolted towards the door of our room. As the 4 of us looked up we saw 5 small wrapped packages outside & as we were they only ones staying on level 21 the packages were meant for us.
