Mari's little head drifts back and forth as he starts to fall asleep after take off. I look over to see some strange woman on the other side of Mari, looking him up and down like he's a snack. Terrified for my newfound friend, I gently tilt his head until it rests against my right shoulder.
He shuffles his head a little in his sleep until it's comfortably snuggled on my shoulder.
I fall asleep not too long after.

"Good Morning Passengers, Local time is about 8:42 AM and you have reached
Gatwick Airport!"
The flight attendant wakes all the passengers and I yawn. I look over to see Mari was still on my shoulder.
I poke him until he slowly opens his beautiful green eyes.
"Mmmmnn, Logan let me sleep."
He groans and closes his eyes again. I shake him hard and he finally wakes up. His eyes open wide,
"Ah, Hamie! Are we there yet?!"
It's almost as if he downed three pots of coffee as he scrambles over my lap to look out the window at the gray skies.
"Yeah, we're here alright"
I yawn and he rubs his eyes while I shield mine from the bright lights.
"We made it!" He squeals and I roll my eyes.
"Who's Logan?" I ask and he raises an eyebrow,
"Logan? That's my boyfriend's name...but how did you know that?"
He asks as he reaches down and grabs his neon yellow backpack from underneath the seat. "You called me Logan in your sleep," I explain as I grab my own bag.
"Ah, haha. How strange, I miss him already but I didn't think I missed him that much."
Mari giggles as he undoes his seatbelt.
"Are you ready!"
He stands triumphantly and everyone looks at him.
"Mari, people haven't even started getting off the plane. Sit back down,"
