Dee's P.O.V

I watch my rear mirror as soon as I turn my car's engine off.

When I was the familiar car I was eyeing out for, I sigh in relief. I thought he drove off after I turned into me street.

I gather all my belongs while waiting for him to park and hop out of the car. The sun was just setting, making the sky dance in orange and pinks.

"Ok, Let me just remind you that my grandmother is 80 and ever upfront. She will speak her mind, so don't get mad if you don't like what you hear," I tell him as he walks up with me to the parch of the home.

I didn't even get a response from him, just a small nod.

I knock on the door, hoping that Grandma wouldn't open it so I could just sneak Kaz in.

But to my luck, the door open as soon as my hand left the surface of the door. "Ah-ah! There you are. I was just about to call and ask what you wanted for dinner." She says not noticing the tall stranger behind.

She cocks her eyebrow upwards as she finally looks behind me. "Listen, kid, I don't want any trouble-"

My eyes widen and I rush to stop her from talking before she insults Kaz. "-Grandma..." I pause gaining her attention. "Uh, this is Kaz." I turn myself sideways so she could get a better view of him. "He's a frie-"

"-I'm her Boyfriend," He abruptly spits out, making my grandma gasps.

My eyes widen as I snap my head towards him. He looks at me and lifts both his eyebrows, as he what he said wasn't phasing him at all.

"Is this why you didn't want to go out with Rayn? You could have just told me, sweetie!" She exclaimed cheerfully as she moved further into the house. "Come on in, young man."

Kaz walks in first, with a huge smirk wiped across his face, while I stood at the door with my arms crossed.

Once Grandma is out of our sight, I speak up. "What is fucking wrong with you. Are yo-" I was cut off by him.

"Who's Rayn?" He questions, copying my body language and crossing his arms.

I smirk. I can totally play this game.  "Oh, Rayn? He's my date for tomorrow morning." I uncross my arms and happily walk into the house, bumping shoulders as I walk past him.

Before Kaz could say something Grandma came in with two mugs on a tray.

"Coffee?" She offered to Kaz first because he was the 'guest'. I could tell she was judging him, why the way she sneakily looked at him up and down. She probably found he threatening. I don't get how could believe I was dating him. I turned down Rayn, and apparently his a 'sweetheart'.

"Thank you, Ma'am," He politely takes the mug off her and smiles a little.

My mouth drops to the floor. It's either he was a serve case of Bioplor or his just really good at acting.

"Thank you, Ma'am," I mimic him under my breath as I take the other mug off her.

The overnight wasn't so bad. Kaz slept in the small guestroom upstairs and unfortunately next to my room. He must have been too large for the bed because I could constantly hear him 'accidentally' knock my himself onto the wall.

I was outside with Grandma, hanging up the wet cloth to the line while she sat down and knitted. When I woke up, Kaz had seemed to head out somewhere earlier than expected.
