Dee's P.O.V
I stay seated in the car as I look at the scene in front of me. The cars rushing in one lane, beeping at each other to try and fight a spot for the drop off zone. I watch as people hug each other, crying or just casually talking, saying goodbye until next time.
The rear mirror reflected the back of Kaz's car where the man himself stood, talking on the phone again for the fifth time, and considering it's four in the morning, pisses me off further because I was still half asleep.
Kaz slams the trunk of the car, making me jump out of my skin. "For fuck sake. What do you not understand? I'll get there when I get there, Lee!"
I shiver in the morning frost as Jay stood in front of our car with his bags in his hands, while Anthea was probably also sitting in the car. If I wasn't wrong, I'm pretty sure Freddie's car was behind us.
I sit up in my seat, yawning loudly as I unbuckle my seat belt. I need to wake myself up otherwise I'll fall asleep while driving his car back home.
I don't even know how I brushed my teeth and got ready to come here, the memory is pretty haze to me itself.
My side door is abruptly open, jumping me into conscious. The morning air gushes into the car making me shiver and chatter my teeth. I should have told Kaz to keep the engine on so the heater would keep me warm.
Kaz bends his knees to come to eye level with me. "So do I get a hug or...?"
I don't talk, only rush to wrap my arms around him like I was never going to see him again. His arms wrap tightly against my waist, pulling me out of the car.
"P-Please don't go," My voice cracks as I mumble in his neck. His scent was fresh and I know It's going to be one of the things I'll miss the most.
His hand brushes my hair gently, softly kissing the top of my head. "It's only a month, baby. I'll be back in a matter of no time," He says as I break the intensity of the hug.
I look up at him to try and intake all of his unique features. The dark morning sky harshened the airport light against his olive skin, and I noticed the dark bags under his eyes.
"Exactly, four weeks too long," I pout, my thumb brushing his perfectly toned cheekbone. "You're really going to do this, huh?"
He nods. "After this, it's goodbye bad life and hello good life." Kaz cups my small face, kissing me multiple times making me laugh because I didn't want him to stop. "I'm going to fucking miss you so much."
I could hear small chatter coming closer towards us. "Remember, you have to call me every single day so I know you're safe." I look over my shoulder and notice everyone clinging to their significant other. "And for God's sake don't just live on noodles as a meal," I announced thoroughly, so the other boys could hear.
They all groan, rolling their eyes in the moment. "You cracked our meal code for the next couple of weeks," Jay laughs as he adjusts his bag on his shoulder.
"No but seriously. Make sure you guys eat and sleep properly. I don't want to be making out with a zombie when you come back." Anthea scholds as she lightly hit Jay's chest.
Freddie looks at his watch and cusses, "We have 30 mins until reporting opens," He says going to give Janyce a final hug and kiss. "We better get going."
I watch all completely in awe, completely forgetting Kaz was there, watching me. "Does that mean I don't get a last kiss and hug?" Kaz snaps me out of daydream.
