Chapter 2. Birthday Boy part 1

Kianna's P.O.V

I walked into Chris house walking out to the backyard where the party was. I was definitely not surprised by how much people were here.

My eyes roamed over the crowd of people looking for Olivia or anybody else I knew. I saw Olivia's boyfriend talking to Chris I waved then began making my way to them but tripped and slammed into a hard body.

I fell back my head hitting the concrete floor."woah are you ok there girl" I hear a voice say then a hand helping me up I look up at the face in front of me and almost fall again. "Lucas?".I whisper out .

He looked at me with wide eyes after realizing it was me. He tried saying something but he tripped over his words. He then rubbed the back of his neck then mumbled a sorry then ran off. I turned around to look for him but he was already gone and lost in the crowd.

Olivia's P.O.V

I pulled my shirt up slipping my boob back in my shirt. "Ok mister no more crying for you,your belly is all full".

I say kissing the top of Joseph head and placing him down in the overly extra large expensive ass crib that Chris placed in Joseph's second room in his overly extra house. after Kianna finally persuaded me to come, i realized that i needed to be mature and just suck it up and deal with Chris. Even though hes sooo annoying and we will probably continue fighting until the end of time we would have to get it together in order to raise Joseph up in the best way possible.

After washing up I brought Joseph back outside and sat next to Kianna and Rafael at the large table. Rafael smiled at me then lightly pecked my lips i looked in the corner of eye and saw Chris staring he rolled his eyes then made a disgusted face i stuck my middle finger up at him and then continued to listen to the service. "I knew Chris ever since he released his first album in 2005, we were just best friends just playing around and singing now we're all grown up haha I can't believe your turning 29 it seems just like yesterday we were sneaking in strip clubs..." I zoned out of Chris's best friend's speech and scrolled through my phone. Y

I didn't start paying attention until I heard Chris walk up and speak. "Thank you everybody for your kind words these years wouldn't be the same without you guys, I just want to thank god for all the things he's blessed me with this past year. A few months ago I experienced one of the best day of my life actually, as most of you know it was the day my beautiful son was born into this world on November 29, and I have so much love for this bundle of joy" I look up from my phone and hide my smile from behind my phone.

Chris walks away from the front of table and make his way towards us. Joseph puts his hands up and starts smiling when he sees his daddy. "But it would only be wrong if I didn't speak about his gorgeous mother Olivia Peart".

My head whips back and I eye him begging him to stop. But of course he doesn't. "She held him for 9 months and took care of him when I couldn't " he walked over to me and took my hand. "And yes we have made some mistakes but you know what, nobody is perfect" he looked down at Joseph and lifted him up "I love him" he says then lightly kisses him on the cheek. I smile up at him. I mean them.

Everybody starts clapping and whistling and awwwwwing. I look to my side and saw Rafael with a hard look on his face. I immediately remove my hand from Chris's hold and put it in Rafael's, he shakes his head but lightly pecks me on the cheek.

"He did not need to do that ,and let me just say I'm seriously not looking forward to what Rafael is gonna say when we get in the car" I say popping another chocolate covered strawberry in my mouth.

Kianna nodded her head laughing "Chris is really something , I wonder what he's trying to do" she says looking over at Chris and Lucas playing with Joseph.
