Hyunwoo watched as Kihyun rubbed the brown dye into his hair almost frantically. Kihyun wrapped a towel around his head and walked out of the bathroom, conveniently shoving Hyunwoo out of the way.

Hyunwoo grabbed Kihyun's wrist "Hey, you haven't told me why you're dyeing your hair out of the blue." Instead of prying Hyunwoo's hand off, Kihyun stopped and sighed loudly.

"One of my brothers got shot and he's in the hospital. I'm going to pay him a visit." Kihyun's voice cracked slightly. I can't let him see this side of me. Kihyun gently pulled his hand out of Hyunwoo's grasp.

"Are you crazy?" Hyunwoo grabbed Kihyun by the shoulders and spun him around. "That's precisely what they are expecting you to do. The whole hospital is swarming with police. The moment you turn up they'll do a security check on you." Hyunwoo gestured wildly.

"And when they see that, they'll be overjoyed that they caught another member without having to lift a single finger!" Hyunwoo pointed at Kihyun's tattoo. "You can't go back there! Do you understand?"

Kihyun lowered his head. Hyunwoo has a point, but I can't leave Yoonho lying there. He's fighting to stay alive, and here I am cowering behind the walls of my home.

If he doesn't make it, he'll never get to go home.

Kihyun let out a cry of despair and collapsed on his bed. "But I can't leave him there!" Kihyun wailed. "It feels like I'm betraying him!" Hyunwoo walked over and sat down beside Kihyun.

He patted Kihyun's towel-wrapped head gently. "Imagine if you went there and you get caught. Like it or not, the police are going to squeeze every last name from you. Wouldn't that be a greater betrayal? Not to mention, one more family would lose their son." Hyunwoo pointed out.

Hyunwoo's words struck deep into Kihyun's heart. He's right, I can't go back there. There's a reason why I made those rules in the first place.

"Besides, did you think changing your hair colour will make it harder for them to identify you?" Hyunwoo scoffed. "I'm pretty sure you're smarter than that."

Kihyun got up and yanked Hyunwoo's earlobe roughly. "Stop acting like you're so smart." He chided and playfully slapped Hyunwoo across the jaw. Hyunwoo merely chuckled in response.

It feels nice to be hanging out with him. It's just like when I met him at the ramen restaurant for the first time.

"Why would you even care if I went to the hospital or not? I mean, I did do some crazy things to you in the past." Kihyun sat cross-legged, facing Hyunwoo. The latter glanced over with a thoughtful look on his face.

"Maybe it's because I like you too."
