Hyunwoo's POV

So many things have changed since Kihyun came into my life. Hyunwoo glanced at the Louis Vuitton shoes on his feet. He never knew Kihyun was that rich. Kihyun had given him that pair of shoes as their first monthsary gift.

Hyunwoo had a hard time coming out to his parents. They didn't want to accept that he was gay initially, but after threatening to leave home to live with Kihyun, they began to slowly accept him for who he was.

"Just... don't live with that man. He's giving me the impression that he deals with indecent business."

He was deep in thought. Should I even resign? He rubbed the side of his face wearily. "A penny for your thoughts?" The cabbie asked. Hyunwoo snapped out of his thoughts and smiled at the cabbie, shaking his head.

Just as he was about to sink into another existential crisis, he noticed a black car tailgating the cab. That car looks familiar. He frowned as the car switched lanes and began driving next to his cab.

As the tinted windows of the car rolled down, a familiar face caught his attention. Ah, it's him. Hyunwoo grinned back at Kihyun, who had leaned out of the car window to mouth "race you" to him.

Hyunwoo flashed him the middle finger. That little asshole, always showing his fancy car off. He turned his attention back to the letter. He closed his eyes and thought hard. Mom and Dad don't know I'm resigning yet.

He gripped the envelope tightly. Will I regret this? He remembered what Kihyun had told him. "Don't do something that you might potentially regret in the future." He flipped the envelope over in his hands.

As the cab pulled up at the airport, a sense of longing washed over him. I don't think I can ever truly let go of this job.

He paid his fare and stood outside the entrance to the airport.
