Kihyun had pushed Hyunwoo into a black Ferrari before seating himself at the driver's seat himself.

"Put your seatbelt on. I'll be going fast." Kihyun started the car and before Hyunwoo had to go even mentally prepare himself, the car had lurched forward and began speeding down the empty road.

Why is he saving me when just a few weeks ago he was practically trying to get me killed? Hyunwoo snuck a glance at Kihyun, who had turned his focus entirely on driving.

Hyunwoo felt a softness deep down. It feels like the time he accompanied me to the airport. We were both in the cab, and we were kind of awkward. He looked out of the window.

But it was a nice feeling, having someone by your side.

Kihyun stopped the car outside a small terrace and turned to glare at Hyunwoo. "Get the fuck out of my car." Hyunwoo unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car. He followed Kihyun into the house quietly.

This must be where he stays. Hyunwoo was led to the living room, where he got a mild shock. The house was quite simply furnished, with a plain brown sofa in the middle of the room.

For a member of an influential gang, he sure lives very humbly. Kihyun collapsed back on the sofa. For the first time, Hyunwoo realised Kihyun didn't look as menacing as he always thought he did.

"Is this where you live?" Hyunwoo asked carefully, observing Kihyun's facial expressions. Kihyun opened his eyes and shot him a sharp glare. "What do you think?" Kihyun let his head rest against the sofa and closed his eyes again.

After a few minutes of blissful ignorance, Kihyun groaned in frustration and got up. "Follow me. I can't stand seeing you stand there like a telephone pole." Kihyun darted up the stairs and Hyunwoo followed suit.

He stopped when he realised Kihyun had brought him to his bedroom. You can't go in there. If he kills you, he can hide your body for years and no one would ever find out.

He heard Kihyun sigh in exasperation. "Look, do I have to usher you in?" He stood by the doorway, leaning against the door frame. Hyunwoo carefully walked into Kihyun's room.

He sat down opposite Kihyun. "Why did you bring me here?" He asked, studying Kihyun's bedroom as he talked. Kihyun rolled his sleeves up and undid the first two buttons of his shirt, revealing his sharp collarbones.

Kihyun messed his hair up and rest his chin in his palm. "Why do you think I brought you here?" When will he stop with the questions? "Because you wanted to save my life?" Hyunwoo replied. It's a stupid answer, but at least it makes sense.

Kihyun rolled his eyes. "Why ask if you already know the answer?" Hyunwoo fell silent. He's got a point there. "But why would you save me?" Hyunwoo just couldn't wrap his head around it. "No offence, but you literally tried to kill me a few weeks ago."

Kihyun flashed him the middle finger. "If you want to go back there, be my guest." Hyunwoo shook his head. "No, what I meant- " Kihyun waved his hand, cutting Hyunwoo off. "I know what you meant. What do you take me for, an idiot?" Hyunwoo blushed slightly and looked away.

"When that brainless fool- "

"He did what he had to."

"Will you stop interrupting me? When that idiot knocked your sister out, anyone with a brain can tell that it would just lead to another major fight. I'm sure you read that article- "

"What article?"

"Stop interrupting me! You and I know what article I'm talking about. Anyway, if I didn't bring you out, you'd be stuck in that fight by now. And there's no guarantee that I can get you out alive with all 4 limbs intact- "

"But you haven't explained why you saved me!"

"STOP INTERRUPTING ME!"

"Okay, my bad. I'll try not to interrupt you."

"You better not. And before you so rudely interrupted me, I was saying that even I can't save you if you get yourself in the middle of another clash."

Kihyun loomed over Hyunwoo, his hands on his hips. "You better be grateful." He jabbed a finger into Hyunwoo's face. Hyunwoo put both hands up in the air. He almost seems friendly. "I'm very grateful, your highness."

Kihyun lightly kicked him in the thigh before turning away and moving over to stand by the window. "Why do you even care about whether I'm dead or alive?" Hyunwoo asked again.

He's going to skin me alive for being such a nosy parker but I can't really be bothered at this point.

Kihyun didn't reply immediately. Instead, he turned around to face Hyunwoo. The sunlight reflected the golden in his eyes, making it look as though they were sparkling. I never thought I'd find another member of the same gender this breathtakingly beautiful.

He was captivated by the sheer beauty that radiated off Kihyun that he didn't realise that Kihyun had spoken.

"What did you say? I didn't catch you."

Kihyun stomped his foot in frustration. He crumpled a piece of paper into a ball and flung it at Hyunwoo. It bounced off Hyunwoo's forehead and rolled away.

"For the love of God, can you pay attention?"

Kihyun turned away to look out of the window again.

"I said I like you."
