A/N: I know that you guys were anxious for the next chapter and it took me FOREVER to do, but it's finally here! I'm sorry it took so long! I've been trying to do it in the morning before school, but due to me getting out of school next week, I've been wanting to sleep in instead of wake up! Do any of you guys do that when you wake up for school or is it just me? Anyways, enjoy Chapter 6! :)
Chapter 6: So Vampires and Werewolves Are Real?
My eyes slowly fluttered open as I felt something damp being pressed to my forehead. A cloth maybe? I don't know. I don't even remember what happened or where I even am at the moment. All I know is that my head is killing me.
"I see that you're awake. Would you like some painkillers to get rid of that headache of yours?" a voice asked, startling me in the process. I turned my head towards where the voice came from and saw that it was Calum that had spoken.
"Yes please," I croaked. He smiled sadly at me as if seeing me in pain hurt him and turned towards the side table to grab me a couple of painkillers before handing them to me along with a glass of water. I nodded my thanks to him and took the painkillers, instantly feeling better. Then I realized something: I'm not in my room.
"You're in my room," Calum stated, noticing that I was looking around the room. My gaze fell on him in shock when I saw just how clean he kept his room. Normally, teenage boys live in a pig sty. Literally.
"This is your room? But it's so clean!" I asked with shock written all over my face, which caused him to chuckle. I quickly pushed that thought away when I realized that I don't quite remember how I got in here. "Wait, what happened for me to land in your room?"
"Derek tried to make you his snack," Calum sighed as he put down the wet rag onto the side table.
"Who's Derek?"
"The vampire that attacked you on your little walk in the woods, which I don't recommend you do anymore."
"Wait, vampire? Those are real?"
"Yeah and so is just about any other mythical creature, including werewolves."
I looked at Calum as if he had grown a second head. Vampires and werewolves are real? Since when? And if they are, how does he know so much about them? I slowly scooted away from him, but only enough for him not to notice.
"How do you know so much about them?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at the boy that I'm slowly starting to fall for.
"Because I'm a werewolf."
