Epilogue
A lot has changed in the last three years of my life. One of them being that I am now a full werewolf. I only transformed halfway during the "Great Battle" but it was enough to get me through it and to help the others. I fully transformed, though, only about a week later when Calum and I had gotten into a fight that was so big, it made me angry enough to transform. We were both so shocked when it happened that it immediately ended the fight. Then, the shock turned into happiness cause it meant that I could be an official Luna. I mean I was going to be one anyway but the fact that I was a werewolf now made it more official.
As soon as I turned back to human form, Calum and I went to go visit Austin to make sure everything was okay. That day was the day that we found out that I was pregnant with our first child: Aidan Thomas Hood. It turns out that the night Calum and I mated, we were so involved with each other that we had forgotten to use protection. Everyone thought that Calum would have gotten down on one knee and proposed then and there but he surprised them by waiting three years later after Aidan was already born to do so. In fact, I was in my old room pacing back and forth with a bad case of cold feet on the day of the big wedding at this very moment before a sudden knock came on my door, halting my actions.
"Ready kiddo?" My dad asked with a knowing smile on his face. He knew what it was like to have cold feet on his wedding day seeing as he had already gone through it twice.
"Is it okay if I say no?" I ask nervously.
"Of course it is darling. It isn't true love if you're not nervous on your wedding day!"
"I know dad, but I'm scared that he'll run out on me. Then I'll have to take care of Aidan by myself!"
"He won't do that, I promise. He loves you too much!" It got silent for just a moment before he added, "Have you told him about the baby yet?"
I sighed quietly and shook my head. "No. I was going to surprise him and tell him during our dance. I'm only seven weeks so it's not too noticeable for him to notice."
Before my dad could reply, though, it was time. Everyone got in their places and before I knew it, I was walking down the isle with Calum's and soon-to-be my niece walking in front of me as the flower girl. The moment I locked eyes with Calum, I couldn't help but smile all of my worries away. Everything went by in a blur after that moment. Next thing I knew, Calum and I had said our "I do"s and shared a passionate kiss to seal our marriage before walking back up the isle to our reception.
*******
The roar of applause was loud as Calum and I walked into the reception hall. There was whistling and hollering and the fact that so many people came out to just enjoy this moment with us, it’s amazing.
We sat down at the table reserved for us and the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Calum sat to the right of me, our fingers still interlocked tightly. He had a huge grin on his face, so big and vibrant.
“You look so beautiful.” His voice sounded in my mind.
“That’s only like, what, the hundredth time you’ve told me?” I giggled in response. He chuckled softly and gave my knuckles a kiss.
The night went on, and it was time for our first dance as a married couple. The soothing music began to play, and Calum pulled me close, and swayed us.
“I’m quite a lucky man, aren’t I?”
“I could be saying the same thing.”
“Well, Mrs. Hood are you ready for tonight?” Calum whispered winking at me. I blushed furiously but smiled wide as we continued our dance.
"Well, Mr. Hood it seems that we don't need to do that because as of seven weeks ago, we have a new member arriving in about seven months from now," I said, finally telling Calum the news about my pregnancy.
It took him about a minute before he registered on what I had just told him. "Are you serious?" he asked with the biggest grin eating his face.
"Dead serious," I whispered. For the rest of our dance, Calum had spun me around so that I had my back to his chest and his hands were placed on my stomach where our baby would be while he swayed us back and forth.

“So, uh, I guess it’s time for the speech.” Calum said into the microphone. He let out a shaky breath as every pair of eyes turned to him. He cleared his throat and looked me straight in the eyes.
“Okay–uh Amanda. When we first met, you had spaghetti on your shirt.” That got some laughs, “but even with sauce all over your shirt and noodles in your hair, you were still the most beautiful girl I had ever laid eyes on.” By this point I was already crying my eyes out.
“I remember the day we went star gazing, and uh, you were telling me about constellations and the history and all I was thinking was ‘one day.. one day i’m going to make her my wife’ and all I saw in her eyes were the stars she seems so fascinated in, and I was fascinated by her.” His voice cracked towards the end, and he said a small thank you before walking off. Once again the venue erupted in loud applause and whistles.
See, the thing about my love story, is it was darkness. Meeting him, falling in love with a werewolf. But to me, it was a perfect darkness.
