Chapter 15: Battle Of The Packs

A/N: Wow! Two chapters in two days?! This one has action in it but it's not very long. Sorry! I hope you guys enjoy this one though :)

Chapter 15: Battle Of The Packs

A month has passed since I have received that note from JJ and she has yet to put her little game in action. Everyone in Calum's pack became a little tense when we read the note out loud to them and I couldn't quite say that I didn't blame them. I would be on edge too if I had received a note from the opposing side basically saying game on. We didn't know what JJ was up to and we were pretty much just anxious to find out what was inside that little devious head of hers.

"You okay Amanda? You look like you're spacing out again," Calum asked me curiously as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"I'm fine. I just have a weird feeling about what JJ is up to," I replied back before turning around in his arms to face him.

"We'll be fine. As long as you're okay, we'll be fine."

I couldn't help but smile at Calum's reassuring words. I never knew how much I needed him until our big fight. Ever since then, I didn't really want to be away from him. That was the day we had officially started dating and I couldn't be any happier.

"Thanks Cal," I replied smiling and kissing his cheek which caused him to pout.

"What? No kiss on the lips?" He pouted causing me to roll my eyes and plant one on his lips. What had started off as a simple kiss on the lips turned into a full on make out session. Just as we were getting into it, though, Luke comes running into the room.

"Calum, we have a small problem..." Luke said a bit breathlessly.

"What kind of problem?" Calum asked him, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"JJ's here."

"Are you fucking serious? She chooses now to play her little game?"

"Apparently so."

"Alright let's go."

Luke gave a firm nod and followed Calum's orders by heading towards the door, me starting to follow behind him when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned around to come face-to-face with Calum.

"What are you doing?" Calum asked skeptically.

"I'm going out there with you guys." I said as I tried to get away from his grip.

"I don't think that's a good idea Amanda."

I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms at this. "And why not?"

Calum breathed out a sigh before reluctantly replying. "I just don't want you to get hurt. I mean I know you can take care of yourself but werewolves are a lot stronger than regulars. What is just a little scratch to werewolves is a huge gash to regulars and I'm scared that that's what's going to happen if you go out there."

I sighed and uncrossed my arms, wrapping Calum into a hug. "I'll be fine Cal. I promise," I whisper into his ear.

"Okay," he whispers back before reluctantly letting me go.

"Let's go kick some ass."

Calum chuckled slightly and kissed my forehead. "That's my girl."

When Calum and I finally got out there, it was already a battlefield. Everyone was in werewolf mode but I could tell that our side was the winning side. Only by so much though. I knew if Calum didn't go out there, the fight would end terribly and that was the last thing I wanted for these guys.

I looked over to Calum and saw that he was already in werewolf mode. It looked like he was trying to tell me what to do with head gestures but I didn't need him to tell me what I needed to do. I already knew what I was going to do: I was going to take down JJ. She had it coming to her from day one and now she's going to get what she deserves the most - payback.

I nodded towards Calum and told him to go before I started to fulfill my request on finding JJ. She had to be around here somewhere, but where that is I don't know. It was hard to find someone when you haven't really seen them in their werewolf form.

"Looking for someone?" A sickeningly sweet voice that was all too familiar asked me from behind. Before I could even turn around though, JJ already had me in a chokehold. "Hmm.. I wonder what would happen if Calum saw me do this to you." Next thing I knew, I felt something sharp dig into my outer thigh. I let out a piercing scream causing the end of the fight. I fell into Calum's arms as he was calling my name before I fell into unconsciousness.
