WAR AND PEACE
( CHAPTER TWO )

No one expected to be attending a little kid's funeral. Jen was crying her eyes out, she tried to imagine what Bill was dealing with, but she couldn't.

And he didn't want her to.

He knew she'll try to, and tried to tell her not too. But after all, Jennifer just wanted her friends to be happy and tried to suck the poison out of her friend's life, this time she needed someone to suck the poison out.

It has being a month and three days after Georgie Denbrough died. Everybody's happy life ended there. Fear and stress filled Derry. Everything and everyone had changed since. Not wanting the kids to play outside or them being alone.

Jennifer thought she'll never would be the same as before again, she thought if everyone would. A moment, all what would leave her mouth were her worried thoughts, and in another time, she couldn't care less. She was different, everyone was.

It has been raining for month now, everyday worse than the other, but today, it didn't rain at all.

Other kids started to go missing too, it seemed as if Georgie was just the start. And cause of that, curfews were established, and no kids were allowed out after 7pm.

Bill stood in the front of the crowd alone, grabbing his hands while crying, looking down to Georgie's tombstone, his umbrella on the floor.

Jennifer thought of going to hug him, she didn't want to bother him though. Her body moved by itself and wrapped her arms around him, bringing him in to a tight hug. Bill cried onto her shoulder.

Richie walked next to her, looking down at her hand as she sniffed.

"We- we've got to go" he said lowly. She didn't turn around at first, her eyes nowhere, but when she did, Richie hugged her. Jen pulled back and nodded slowly before going to say goodbye to the Denbroughs then to the Uris, where she grabbed and squeezed Stan's hand for a second and gave him a weak smile to then go with Richie to his dad's car.

Yeah, they didn't care about their son at all, nor did the girl's family, but they have to cover stuff in public and such. That was one of the reasons why Richie and Jen were best friends. They loved each other when no one else would.

Once in the car, both adults didn't say a word to the kids in the back. Mr. Tozier rode the car on the cloudy afternoon and mrs. Tozier sniffed onto a tissue.

In the back, both kids had their hands together as they looked out of the windows on teir sides. When they arrived to the household, they got out and went to the guest room, where Jen would sleep when she was over.

And yes, she was over many times, her mom and Rich's were friends since who knows when, but none of the two kids cared.  Nor did the two woman, hey that could be the reason their friends.

Hopefully, this would end soon.
