WAR AND PEACE
( CHAPTER FOUR )

Jennifer went straight to the bathroom when she woke up, now on her house.

After getting out of the shower, she looked at herself in the mirror before deciding she'll cut her hair after hanging out with her friends. And the sooner she'll leave, the more time she would have to go to the salon.

The girl went to the kitchen and grabbed a box of chocolate milk and then went outside, locking the front door after.

She rode to Stan's street were they decided to meet, drinking the chocolate milk and thinking on songs she wants to add to a tape on the way.

Stan had been checking every second if any of them came. And when he spotted her, he ran outside with a smile on his face.

Jennifer got down of her bike and went to meet him on the steps of the porch "Hey babe" she chocked "Stan. Stan. Hey Stan"

He giggled "Good morning Jen, how's you doing?"

"Great now that I'm with you"

She smirked making him chuckle "I think I'm the one thats supposed to say that" he thought for a minute "Hey would you like to... hang out or something, after we finish there on the Barrens?"

Jennifer smiled "I- I have plans actually, well not plans, you guys are the only people I know. I, I was going to get a haircut"

Stan raised his eyebrows and smiled "Really?"

"Yeah, long hair is from long ago— and it'll be easier to wash it" she paused "I-I'm sorry—"

"No no, its okay, perhaps I should have one of them boys bothering me" he looked at her "You're so pretty, I mean, you're still going to be pretty and such, but yunno, you're pretty going on super pretty with the upgrade... sorry I'm rambling"

"'Upgrade'?"

"The haircut. It'll probably suit you"

Jennifer leaned in and kissed his cheek, he turned after and she kissed him in the lips.

"You're really sweet" he smiled. "I'm glad I yelled 'STAN' that afternoon"

"Jennifer.. I—" Stan began but was interrupted by a 'HONK HONK' in the distance. They turned to where the sound was coming from. Richie. And behind him was Bill.

Richie pointed them once he stopped on his track "Look they probably fucked" he said to Bill, who rolled his eyes.

"Shut up, dickweed" Stan spat making her laugh "As if you will ever fuck, Richie"

"Who says I haven't" the boy says before whisper-yelling 'ooooh'. They all roll their eyes, she snorts and walks up to her bike. Just then Eddie arrived.

"Hello guys—"

"Shut up, Eddie"

"What the fuc—"

"I'm leaving, you guys coming?" Yells Jen riding her bike down the street "Keep up, losers!"

"Wait!"
