I come home from school expecting to start my weekend but nope I find a note off dad telling me to pack a suitcase for 2 weeks, I'm so confused but does as he ask and when I'm finished I go downstairs with rex and look for dad.
"have you packed?" dad asks when I eventually find him.
"yes but why did I have to pack?"
"we're going on holidays"
"where?"
"somewhere you've always wanted to go"
"America?"
"yep" dad smiles
"which state?"
"one you always wanted to visit"
"that's loads of them through"
"western side"
"California?"
"correct"
"we're going to California?" I smile brightly
"yes"
"omg omg thank you thank you" I hug dad tightly and then janey comes over
"I take it you told her?" she laughs
"of course I have" dad laughs back
"so do I get to be joint manager with joyce whilst you're gone?" lesley asks
"you're coming too?" I ask janey
"yeah, you think your dad would wanna look after a fangirl alone in a place full of celebrities?"
"true and he may walk off after girls" I giggle
"hey I won't" dad smiles
"you probably will, I bet you €50 that you will" lesley says
"ok deal" dad says and they shake on it.
"I'm gonna pop over and give roxy my half of the history project cause it's due in next week"
"ok be back here by 6pm sharp cause out flight is at 9" janey says
"ok I will" I smile and says bye to rex and gets my project and goes to roxy's. roxy answers the door and is extremely happy cause she has the house to herself I'm guessing.
"they all gone away for the weekend, I can have a decent sleep for once" roxy smiles as she gets us both a drink
"awesome, here's my half of the project I won't be in mext week or the week after"
"why?"
"I'm gonna be in california"
"you're going to california?"
"yep, 2 whole weeks"
"omg lucky you" roxy smiles
"I'll send you loads of pictures"
"you better"
"oh yeah and I can finally get that thing you wanted"
"the green day bobble heads?"
"yeah"
"I'll give you the money"
"nope, it's fine honest"
"you sure?"
"yeah I'm sure"
"ok....so let's see your half then"
"and I paper clipped the drawings of the Cosby show to the back of all of mine" I say handed it to her
"omg they are amazing" roxy smiles whilst looking at them, around an hour later I left and seen mickey for a while then came back home. I took rex to kenneth's suite and said bye to them both and went back to mine to make sure I got everything.
