it's 2 weeks into the new year and I'm grounded, all because I went to a concert last Saturday and I got home a little late. dad seems to think 2 after my curfew is late but I personally think 3 hours plus is late and it wasn't my fault everyone was screaming encore so we had an encore and it wasn't my fault and to top it all during the argument of be being late and me apparently not telling him I was going to a concert I only go and smash a cup, 'nice one mona you just had to go and make it worse' the voices in my head said. when it couldn't get anyworse I storm to my room and I put my music on shuffle and leave me alone starts playing which made me giggle but when dad came in cause it's too loud, the volume was on 7 but alright it's too loud I started singing leave me alone and which really helped with my angry temper and all I can see is dad stood there babbling on but I'm so into the lyrics I don't have a clue what he is saying. "I don't want it, I don't need it" I sang the ending with proud and then dead bite starts playing, nice one shuffle this only made dad more angry so here I am sat in the bottom part of the pool bar bored out of my mind then I get a text
'hey baby, you coming to the skating park? x'
'no I'm grounded :( x'
'still? x'
'yeah I got another week left x'
'ok, roxy asked did you get the email of the pictures? x'
'yeah I've already done it and will bring it in on monday x'
'ok, well see you monday x'
'ok :) x'
I sit here just staring at joyce getting liam to do something rubbish, and then I go to the suite to watch TV. by about 5 dad comes in and I'm sat here munching on some random fruit pieces bored as hell.
"you coming to Neptunes tonight?"
"well seeing as it's Friday so I may aswell"
"you got any homework?"
"done it"
"all of it?"
"yes dad I finished all my homework in the 4 hours I was in here bored"
"shouldn't of came in late"
"so I'm grounded because inwas late not cause of the concert"
"well that but last minute's concerts I don't mind but 2 hours late is just ridiculous"
"I'm sorry dad I did try to call you before they started the encore but I had no signal and nobody else did so I couldn't use theirs"
"ok but you're still grounded"
"fine"
"if you're coming down be ready in 20 minutes" dad smiled then walked off. I went into my room and got my tab then went to feed rex and watch the end of some random tv show then the 20 minutes was up and we went to Neptunes. I was sat behind the bar bored as hell as all the people who cause drama aren't here, you know it's boring here when even asa is getting bored and he's not even half way through. liam came and took a seat and for the first time this year we had a conversation where he wasn't asking stupid questions.
it's been a week which means that I'm no longer grounded, I get ready and go to the skatepark "dude you're back" jamie shouts whilst I'm sitting down,
"I'm never going to a concert last minute again" I laugh and mickey wraps his arm around me "so have I missed anything good?"
"danielle was walking past the other day and was too busy looking nat us that she walked into a post" ellie said and I burst out laughing
"that is funny" I laughed
"and I got made to do a family photo shoot and she went mad that I didn't dress formal" roxy said
"what band top did you wear?"
"suicide silence"
"but did you get away with it through?"
"yeah they didn't have no choice cause I kept my coat done up until we got there"
I start to laugh again and then we went on the ramps and as usual I won.
