After I seen they were laid down and sleeping , I made my way back to Chandra's room she was just staring into space.

Nicki :  " do you want me to stay with you cause I really don't wanna be alone tonight & I know you don't either , but if you do I'll leave sis . "

She was silent .

Nicki : " you know what I'll just go. " I said as I got up and waddled.

Chandra: " no.. stay. "

I walked back over to the bed and sat beside her.

Nicki: " you gotta keep ya head up sis , you got three beautiful girls in there.. they can't see you at your lowest.. i know it hurts trust me i know how it feels to lose a close one , but you gotta be strong . "

Chandra:  " I told him not to go .. I told him to stay home ! I told him..........         it's my fault. "

Nicki: " Chandra! Don't you dare blame yourself. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time baby. Mel wouldn't want you crying he say suck that shit up & be the tough Chandra he know and love . "

Chandra: " i know , i know .. i gotta get it together you right. "

She said as she wiped her face.

Nicki: " com on , let's get some ice cream. "

I grabbed her hand and we walked to the kitchen.

She sat at the bar and I walked over to her freezer.

And grabbed the icecream and two bowls.

Then there was a knock at her door.

Nicki: " I'll get it . "

Chandra: " no I got it , "

Nicki: " sure . "

Chandra: " yeah ! " she said as she got up.

I heard her talking but she never came back .

I grabbed my bowl of icecream and spoon .

And I was licking to the spoon I started walking over to the door.

Nicki: " girl who i- "

I do a whole 180 and wobble my ass back into the kitchen.

August : " nicki ! "
