I waited for everyone else to leave before getting changed myself. If I'm going undercover at this school, I need to fabricate an identity and scars just aren't going to cut it. There are no uniforms for P.E (again, living in the U.K. Means things work differently. We have uniforms in high school and we do have a PE kit but I've decided that I don't want uniforms for PE in this story) so I simply wore black shorts with white stripes along the sides and a black t-shirt. Pulling on an off-white hoodie I walked into the gym with a smirk playing upon my lips. This was going to be fun. Very fun.

"Nice if you to join us, Winterson!"

"My name is Olly."

Mrs. Tetslaff blinked a few times then laughed deeply. "I like you, kid! Lots of sass. Let's see if you can teach our star quarterback a few things!"

"I'd image I can teach him many things."

"No way! I'm obviously smarter than you!"

"Are you really? Go ahead then, what is the Cosine Rule?"

"I... um..."

"Oh, come on Dash. That's easy! Little A squared is equal to little B squared plus little C squared minus two a b Cosine big A. Honestly I thought you were 'clever!'"

"Hey! I never told you my name!"

It was my turn to be annoyed at myself. Idiot! "It's called gossip, A-lister." I scoffed. This wasn't what i wanted. I wanted to be feared, to be a 'loner'. Ah well, that would be easy to fix.

"Stop arguing! We have exercise to get on with! Twenty press-ups! Go, go, go!"
My twenty press-ups were quickly over and I immediately got to work. I kept my appearance as is - I can work with anything - and reached out with my mind. It was different to alter memories and you needed hours to do so. I couldn't do that. Instead, I gave their emotions a quick nudge in the right direction. Their emotions towards me, that is. I made them feel interest, fear, slight dislike and just a pinch of resentment. I pushed discomfort into them. There, my identity was fabricated... mostly. I had a few things left to do. "Well done, Mr. Winterson. Now that everyone else is done you can stop sitting there."

I didn't say anything. I kept my expression neutral. It was important for how I wanted them to view me.

"Alright folks! Today we're going to do some running! So... I want five laps and either the first or last one has to be sprinted. The rest is up to you. Go."

I couldn't sprint the first one, because then everyone would notice how adept I am. No, I would sprint last when everyone else was too tired to notice me. I jogged the whole thing. The last lap was nearing. It occurred to me just before I ran that I'd have to tone it down. Oh, too late! Quickly, I slowed. I'd already completed half the lap. A whole half. In about half a minute. I made sure so do the next half at a normal human pace, glad that no one had seen. I stopped with that blank expression still present. Wow, I'm good.
