Chapter 10 Part 1

Scarlet

I am walking with Shay to school and I have one earbud in and I let out a breath and Shay says
"What?" I look at her and say
"The whole Ronnie thing you know, like I'm worried about him." She shakes her head and she says
"Who knows maybe he was just having a bad day yesterday."
"Yeah probably." We get inside and we get pushed and shoved out of the way but I'm use to it.

We sit  down in front of CC and Ash and we sit down and we talk to them and of course CC is smiling at Shay. He says
"So this week end, since its still nice weather and mg parents aren't gonna be home they said I can have friends over so you guys want to come" Shay looks at me and I say
"Yeah are parents are always off doing stuff and they don't care what we do unless it's illegal." He smiles and we smile back and Mr.Iero starts class and I look at the board still thinking about Ronnie and how Andy said he's gonna try talking to him.

Halfway through class I stand up and Shay and CC are talking and I walk to Mr.Iero, I look down and say embarrassed
"Can I go to the bathroom?"
"Yes that's fine Scarlet."
"Thank you."
"No problem." I walk away and I walk out and head of the bathroom. After I'm done I walk out of the stall and I'm in the middle of drying off my hands when the door opens. All the sudden I see the popular girls and I mumble
"Shit." I act like I don't see them till one says
"Hey goth girl."

I look down and the leader, Mandi says
"Hey we are speaking to you freak." I look to see if I can make it to the door but one of them are there. I look and the are dressed like normal, super tight jeans, shirts that show a little of there stomachs. And Mandi says
"Ewww what's on your shirt?" I look down and see my Asking Alexandria shirt with a skull on it and I say
"A band shirt." Looking down and I had a red and black plaid shirt over it and one says
"That's a horrible match together." They walk over and one trips me and I fall and hit my head on the wall and I take a sharp breath. Another one pulls my hair and says
"What's up with this mess?!" I but my lip and one kicks my rib and I coil up in a ball.

They keep hitting and kicking me and calling me horrible names and I try to fight back but here are too many. Once hey finally stop they walk out and I'm in so much pain I don't want to stand up. A while later I finally stand up and my nose is bleeding and my lips busted and my shirts ripped so I take that off and it hurts so bad. My cheeks starting to bruise and I can feel my ribs are bruised, I try to clean up and I'm crying and I walk back to class trying to calm down. I can't even walk in limping holding onto the wall, I open the door and Mr.Iero says
"Finally- what happened?!"

The whole class looks at me and starts whispering and Shay, CC, and Ash all run over to me. I fall agents the wall and Mr.Iero tells the class to talk and he runs over to me, he walks out into the hall and tries to get CC, Shay, and Ash to go back inside. But no mater what they won't but he says if they don't he'll have them suspended and they go in hesitantly.

He closes the door and I'm leaning agents the wall crying in pain and he starts asking me what happened and I tell him. He opens the door and calls the nurse, principal, and another teacher to come watch the class. Everyone's looking at me and I'm on the floor in a ball in so much pain. The nurse comes running down the hallway and after a while she gets me in the wheelchair. They put on the speakers they are doing a code red drill, but Mr.Iero stands in front of the door so no one can see. The nurse pushes me to her office and I lay on the bed and she calls the hospital because she's worried my ribs might be broken and they call my parents.

****After Everything At The Hospital****

I'm walking out after changing back in my clothes and hem giving me some pain meds. My parents run over and they ask if I'm okay and my moms still all dressed up and my dad is as well. My moms a lawyer and my dads a police officer, my mom hugs me and I say
"Ow." He lets me go and I say
"D-do I have to go back to school?"
"No sweetie no." I shake my head okay and they lay the bill and we leave and my dad says
"Want anything?" I shrug and he says
"I'm sorry I got to go back to work." My mom says
"Me too." I shrug and my mom goes to work and my dad drives me home. He picks me up some Chick-Fa-La and he makes sure I'm okay.

I look down and he says
"If you want after school your friends can come over and stay and order a pizza, me and your mom both have late nights." I shake my head and say
"Thanks dad." He softly kisses my forehead and he says
"Of course princess, you sure you'll be okay? I can take off work." I shake my head and say
"No I'll be fine go before you will have to work even later like mom." He shake ships head and we say bye love you than he leaves. I lay down and eat Chick-Fa-La and watch NCIS.
