Helena scrolled through her phone, extremely bored. There was nothing new on social media, so that didn't help her case. She had already beaten half of the games on her phone and watched all her favorite shows. She sighed and decided to google “dank memes” to provide her a little amusement. She found one that she couldn’t stop laughing at. She closed her eyes and continued to laugh, out of breath and on the verge of tears.
When she opened her eyes, she was surrounded by ash and smoke. She coughed, then looked around. She saw what looked like a parade float. She walked towards it. In front on the parade float, she saw a man. He had short, white hair, hazel eyes, and he was dressed in a marching uniform. He looked over at her and winked. She nearly fainted. He ran over and held her up. He kissed her on the forehead and said, “See you next time, I guess.”
Then she opened her eyes, and she was on her bed, looking at her phone, once more.
