Bella

It's been 16 years since the we last saw the Voltouri.

Ness, it's better than Nessie, married Jacob only 6 years ago when she was fully grown and mature. I remember as if it was yesterday.

"Mom, what if.." Ness mumbled only loud enough for me to hear.

"Jacob loves you more than anything. Even more than food, and that's saying something," I said as I smiled at the thought of Jacob scarfing down a bunch a pancakes in one sitting.

She giggled only slightly. Still not ready.

"There is no need to be nervous. Your father probably is, but you don't need to. I know Jacob almost as well as you but in a different way. He won't do anything stupid to mess up your day. He loves you. Don't deny it. He imprinted on you."

"I know. I just feel like he only loves me because he imprinted on me."

"He loves you because you are you," I said remembering the time she tried all leather to impress Jacob.

I kissed her on the forehead just as Edward walked in. He looked marvelous and as he always did, dazzled me. He smiled at me. I knew he had read Ness' thoughts, and I could tell he knew that I comforted her.

I quickly walked down the steps of our luxurious house, and walked outside to find my seat.

The music began to play, and I glanced at Jacob, who was a nervous wreck and looked like he had been crying, and I winked at him. He smiled that Jacob smile that always gave me comfort.

I turned around just as Jacob did to find my daughter in her beautiful white gown. We had picked it out together. It was a ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. There was a diamond encrusted belt that brought out the twinkle in her eye.

"Bells, I guess this is goodbye," Jacob said.
