I started walking downstairs, and went all the way down to the lab, which was where Loki was. Well, he wasn't actually in the lab, he was in a room across from it in a cell. I took a deep breath and walked in the room. I saw the glass cell Loki was in, and I walked up to it. He was laying in the bed, facing away from me. I knocked on the glass to get his attention. He sat up and turned around. When he saw me, he stood up and walked over.
"Nikki! I've missed you so much!" He said.
The god of mischief missed me. Huh.
"I missed you too. Okay, I wanted to see you, but I'm not supposed to be down here." I said.
He nodded and looked down. I wanted to hug him, and talk to him without this barrier in the way. I walked over to the keypad that would open the cell. If I knew Mr. Stark correctly, then it was the last 4 digits of his phone number. I put in the code, and the cell opened and I walked in. The cell shut behind me, and I ran up to Loki. He hugged me, and picked me up and spun me around. He kissed me, and sat me back down. We sat in the bed, and talked for hours. He told me how tomorrow Thor was taking him to Asgard to be put in prison there. I told him how I was going to be an Avenger when I turned 18 Wednesday. He told me about his life on Asgard before he became evil.
"I don't know how I can prove that I don't think that way anymore." He said.
I shrugged.
"I don't know. But I believe in you." I said.
"You know what made me change? What made me tell myself I wouldn't be the monster people know me as anymore?"
"What?" I asked.
He leaned in and whispered in my ear.
"You."
I was about to cry. I actually helped someone. I was actually important.
"I hate to leave. You know I do. But I have to leave before I get caught." I said.
"I understand."
He hugged me.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too, Loki."
Never thought I'd say that sentence. I was about to walk out when I realized something. I was locked in.
