11. Wrong choice

Ashley was still thinking about Carol's deed yesterday. It's really confusing. Why she did like that. As she walk into the school she saw Scott walking with Hayden across her. She got nervous and run behind a pole. Scott didn't saw her but Hayden does.
"Hey Ashley what are you doing there? Let's go to the class." He said.
Ashley look at Scott as they make an eye contact she quickly throw her sight away. She was shy because now she knew that Scott knew it was her who sent the letters to him everyday so today she'll stop doing it.
"You guys go first I had something to do." Ashley said and walk away.
"She's weird." Hayden said.
"Let's just go to the class. I can't stand for too long." Scott said and start walking. Hayden follow his back and gets into the class.

"Hey, actually I've got you since you started sending me some letters so you don't need to worry. I don't really shock when Carol said it was you because I already knew it by myself." Scott post a note pad in Ashley's locker. And go back to the class.

While recess, Ashley saw the note pad and take it. She quickly go to the class back to look if Scott's still there. "How do youu know?" Ashley put her face near Scott's face.
"Ouch my leg." He cried.
"Gosh I'm sorry what happened?" Ashley bend down and hold Scott's ankle.
"Ouch ouch. Please look at my ankle." He lied. He doesn't felt any pain actually. He just like to tease Ashley.
"Here?" Ashley ask focusing on his ankle.
"Yes there." Scott laugh silently.
Ashley still focusing on Scott's ankle.

"Just sit down at your place I'll buy the food from the canteen." Ashley run to the canteen and bought Scott and herself a sandwich. She then sit on Hayden's place and eat with Scott. "My hands can't move. I'm so weak now." Scott's lying and put his face on the table. "Open your mouth..." Ashley said and take one sandwich to feed Scott. Scott open his mouth and take a bite of that sandwich.
"You guys look like a couple thanks to me." Carol clap her hands as she walks into the class and continued by Karen. Laren doesnt know that Carol was mad at Ashley so she thought Carol was happy.
"So Ashley, please tell Jack that you're now Scott's girlfriend." Carol said and rolled her eyes. She pull Ashley's chair aside and push Ashley's bag down. "Now you can sit wherever you want but please don't sit near me." Carol said to Ashley. Karen than raise her voice. "What the heck was going on between you two?"
"Ask that asshole." Carol point at Ashley.
Ashley make a sign that she'll talk about it later and Karen nodded.
Scott at that time feel bad of Ashley so he asked. "Do you want to sit beside me? Let's share the table." He said spontaneous. "Are you serious?" Ashley ask.
"Yeah sure. It's not a big deal actually." Scott said and ask Karen to bring Ashley's chair beside his.
"Just sit here for now." He sweep the chair using his hand like there's any dust on the chair. Ashley nod and sit.

After recess, Veronica saw Ashley was sitting beside Scott. She got jealous and shout. "Hey bitch, it's been years that I'm with Scott. I never got to sit like that In the class. What are you doing there? Just sit with your nerdy friends." She said and pointed to Karen and Carol's seats.
"Scott ask me to sit here. Why are you getting so jealous?" She ask and grin. Hayden look at Veronica. "It's okay you can sit beside me." He said. Veronica rolled her eyes and sit at her place. She's crying.

"Hey Ashley. You read it right?" Jack approach her after school. "Read what?" Ashley ask.
"The letter that I gave you." Jack said.
"Oh yeah haha I've read it." Ashley lied.
"So you accepting right?" Jack ask and smile.
"Yeah sure." She said even she doesn't know what's in there.
"Thanks, let's have a date tomorrow." Jack holds Ashley's shoulder.
"What date?" Ashley ask.
"Just wait for me after school tomorrow." He walk away and wink at Ashley.

Karen approach Ashley. "So what's up?" Karen ask.
"Carol caught Jack giving me a present and a letter." Ashley sighed.
"Gosh then what happened? And why do you need to thank her?" Karen ask Ashley and holding Ashley's shoulder.
"She told Scott that i was his secret admire." Ashley start to cry.
"Oh my god!!! Carol did that? So are you guys dating?" She widen her eyes.
"Yup Carol did that and we're not dating." She said wiping her tears off.
"So why did you feed him? Like he can eat by himself." Karen ask because she was puzzled.
"His hands are weak." Ashley said.
Karen grin "okay then, bye!" Karen waves at Ashley and run to the bus stop.

Veronica and Chloe then approach her. "Hey." Veronica shouted. "Hi." Ashley said politely.
"You can be our friends if you want since you and your friends now are felling apart." She said and give a sweet smile.
"No thanks." She said and make a step away from Veronica and Chloe.
"You can sit with us in the class. Maybe we can get along." Chloe said.
"Aaa so you're jealous huh?" Ashley ask and look at Veronica.
"You want or not?" Veronica ask.
Ashley thought it'd be really good because she wanted attention and when she's part of Veronica's best friend it'll be the short cut to be famous. So she accepted.

Karen text her like hell. She spam Ashley with so many text. "Hey, you know what? I'm now Veronica best friend. We're having a good talk on my way back home." Ashley send Karen a text.
"K" Karen replied.

At the school Veronica walk to Ashley's chair at Scott's table and pull it to hers. Scott and Ashley arrived at the same time at the school so they walk together into the class. Scott then ask.
"You're Veronica's friend now?" Scott ask with a weird tone.
"Yeah why?" Ashley ask.
"Just be careful." Scott go to his place and Ashley go to her place beside Veronica.
They start chatting and laughing like a good friend. Then they play truth or dare. Ashley chose dare and Veronica dare her to throw an egg to each one of her friends which is Carol and Karen. She accepted it because she thought it'd be funny like friend tease friend. But it's getting worse.

After school, Ashley throw to eggs at Karen and Carol. Carol was still mad at her and she gets madder to Ashley now while Karen starts to feel annoyed wit Ashley. She don't take that as a joke. She thought that Ashley was bullying her so she raise her middle finger to Ashley.
"Sorry !" Ashley shout and laugh. She still thought it was funny. Veronica and Chloe just smirked at her.
