18. It was you?

"Where's Jack?" Chloe ask Carol because she don't see him today.
"Why? Any problem?" Carol ask and turn around to her locker.
"I ask you politely. Where's Jack?" Chloe ask her again but no chill now.
"In the hospital." Carol said and left her.

Chloe was messed up. She wanted to hit Carol not Jack. She was doing that because she was jealous of Carol after she saw Jack sent Carol's back home. She don't know why she got jealous. It's just automatic. She also don't know why she got so obsessed with Jack. She don't want to have a boyfriend because she don't want her heart breaks for a boy and crying over a boy. She feels stupid. She looks sweaty and pale. She look around and everything is like an illusion. She felt dizzy and blackout.

"Are you alright?" Veronica ask Chloe and cry.
"Where am I?" She asked and raise her hand. She was wearing a hospital gown and Veronica was sitting and crying beside her.
"You're fainted. Are you really okay?" Veronica ask her.
She not saying anything she just look around still not believing her own eyes. This was the first time she's been warded at the hospital or maybe a lot when she's still a baby but it's the first time she was this ill. Her mom was holding her hand and smile while her dad was just standing beside her mom and smile at her.

"Jack's still alive." Veronica whispers at her.
"Shut up." She said and close her eyes.
"Get some rest okay babe." Veronica hold Chloe's shoulder and left. Chloe still can't believe that she almost being a murderer. She was so relieved after knowing that Jack was alive. She don't know she was in the same hospital as Jack until she was going to breathe some air at the roof top garden and saw a woman was strolling around with her hands holding the handle on the wheelchair that Jack's sitting.
She go near Jack.
"Jack?" She ask him.
"Who are you?" Jack asked her. He then throw his sight to a girl that was walking towards him.
"Ma it's Carol! ." He said happily.
Chloe look at her with a full of hatred face.
"I'm sorry Chloe, Jack lost his memory due to the accident." Jack's mom told Chloe and smile. Jack and Chloe was a childhood best friends since their parents are best friends too. They were close back then but being quite a distance after Chloe moved to South Korea 7 years ago but have back to the homeland 4 years ago.
"Ahh, I see that's why he forgotten me haha." She fake a laugh and look at Carol that becomes nearer to Jack.
"Hi Carol." She greet Carol.
"You know her?" Jack's mom ask Chloe and she nods.
"We're in the same school." She explained. Jack's mom nod and ask.
"Where's you parents it's been a year since I've met them." Jack's mother ask Chloe.
"They're in my room." Carol said and look at Carol.
"Why are you here?" Carol ask Chloe.
"Can't you see me with this hospital gown?" She sarcastically ask Chloe and rolled her eyes.
"Let's go." Jack said at Carol and it caught Chloe's attention.
"Let me push you to your room." Chloe smile at Jack and Jack shakes his head.
"Na'aa I only want Carol. I don't even know you." Jack smile at Carol. Jack's mother there was puzzled looking at them.
"Okay you guys. Have fun with each other I'll go to your room to meet your parents.." Jack's mom look at Chloe. Chloe nods and waves her hand at Jack's mom and look right away at Jack after his mom lost from their sight.
"I'm Chloe. Remember?" She ask Jack and hold the handle of the wheelchair.
"Oh hi Chloe. Nice to meet you but please let Carol push me." Jack said to Chloe and Carol laugh.
"It's not good to say that to people. Watch your behavior Jack." Carol reminds him and grin.
"Urgh, do you think Jack likes you? Haha look how funny is one-sided love can be." Chloe laugh at Carol.
"But I actually likes Carol." Jack told Chloe and Carol blushed she really doesn't know that Jack likes her. She was so happy.
"Whatever, your acting are just like when you're a kid. So lame." Chloe smile and grin.
"But I'm not acting now I'm being real." Jack told her and smile awkwardly.
"I really don't regret for hitting you." Chloe smirk and left.
"WAIT !" Carol stops Chloe from walking.
"What?" Chloe stop and ask without turn around.
"Y-y-you're the one who hit Jack?" Carol asked stammered.
"I was planning to hit you but I accidentally hitted Jack. At first I was regretting myself for hitting Jack but I take back my regret and not feeling anything now." Chloe told them and left.
"It's okay. I got your back too." Jack smile at Carol. Carol smile with tears in her eyes.
"Thank you! I appreciate that." Carol smile and wipe her tears.
"Don't cry over that psychotic demon my little angel." He said and laugh.
"Your angel?" Carol ask him with an exciting tone.
"Yeah my angel." He said and grin.
"Why am I your angel?" She ask with a cute voice and poke him. She was shy and excited when Jack told her that.
"Because angel always there for us when we need them and you're the one who always there for me when I need you." Jack smile and make a serious face.
"Faster push me! I'm not gonna say that again it hurts my pride." He said and close his eyes.
"Whatever." Carol shakes her head and push Jack to his room.

"Hey hey hey look who's here." Ashley whispers to Scott as they saw Carol was pushing Jack into the room.
"They're cute." Scott grin.
"Yeah." Ashley nods and Scott continues. "Like us." Ashley laugh and beat him. "What the heck?" She laugh.
"Ouch ouch." Scott rubs his arm. "You're so damn strong omg." Scott run into Jack's room.
"Hey wait!" Ashley following him.

"Hey cutie." Hayden call a waitress at a cafe.
"Shut up." Karen beat him with a tray.
"So... serve me the best meal of this restaurant." He said and crossed his leg. Karen just look at him and narrowed her eyes.
"I know I'm quite good looking but I'm still waiting for the meal. I'm hungry." Hayden said and put his head on his arms.
"Okay fine." She go to the kitchen and ask for an order.
The cook hands to a waiter the meal because Karen was taking an order from other customer.
"Here's your meal." The waiter said.
"Thank you can you call the waitress there." He pointed at Karen and the waiter nod.
"What do you want huh?" Karen ask him.
"Sit here." He points at a chair in front of him.
"I'm working" Karen said and rolled her eyes.
"I'm your customer and you need to be good to me and just do what I say." Hayden said and making a lip-bite.
"Don't do that!" Karen said and beat him.
"Oh, am I too hot? I'm sorry I just do it in front of you." Hayden laugh.
Karen left him.
"Can she take a time-off?" Hayden shout at the cashier and point at Karen. Everyone's looking but he doesn't care, he just do whatever he wants because it's his talent of doing whatever he wanted and not care about anyone's thought. The cashier then nod because he was frightened and look at Karen. Karen takes her apron off and give to a waitress beside her.
"I'm sorry his brain was ...you know" Karen makes a he's-crazy sign.
"Oh okay I get it. Pity you." The waitress said worriedly.
"I know right." Karen smile and go to Hayden.
