14. I don't regret for loving you -Karen

"Hey have you eaten?" Jack ask Ashley in a phone call. He was already at the school for a hockey practice.
"Nope, I'm getting ready for school." She said and smile. She was choosing her outfit to go to school. She was crazy in love with Jack right now so she need to dress-up in front of him to make him fall for her everyday and every second. The school also knew that they were a couple now and most of them including Veronica agreed that they was a perfect match.
"Okay then let's have some breakfast at the canteen. The foods are on me. And please go early. I miss you" Jack said and grin. He like to act cute in front of Ashley because he thought that Ashley will love him more than she love Scott. She knew about the letter thingy because when he open Ashley's locker she saw there's a letter and it was Scott's handwriting. He is a close friend of Scott back then so he'll know everything about Scott.
"Don't make me fall for you everyday, it's sucks." She laugh and end the call. She put her phone on the desk and take her towel and go to the bathroom.

"Look who's coming." Jack shout from afar. Ashley still don't see him because he was hiding.
"Hey where are you?" Ashley shout. There's only several people at the school by that time because it's still early in the morning so they just ignore Ashley.
"I'm here." Jack run towards Ashley and close Ashley's eyes from the back.
"Is that you Jack?" Ashley hold his hands and pull off from her eyes. She laugh and hug Jack.
"Let's go to the canteen." Jack grabs Ashley's hand and run to the canteen. It's still early in the morning so the canteen still not cooking the heavy meal so Jack just bought an egg sandwich for Ashley.
"Here eat this." Jack hands her the sandwich. She smile and said
"Thanks Jack." She look into Jack's eyes. Their face is going nearer and nearer it's like they're having a kiss anytime but then

"Stop!" Scott run with his stick towards them and fell down in front of them.
"Are you okay?" Ashley walk towards him to help him and grin.
"Why are you laughing?" Scott hold Ashley's hand and stand up slowly.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to laugh at you." Ashley said and look at Jack. Jack was looking at Scott fiercely. He was mad because they're nearly kiss and it was the first kiss in their couple period.

Ashley then walk with Scott and get into the class. Jack was not in the same class as them so he just go to his class alone by himself. As he walk to his class Carol approach him.
"Hi Jack!" Carol greet him happily.
"Yo." He said with a plain face. He not hating her, he just can't express his emotions right now because he was mad at Scott.
"Why are you being so sad in this holy morning?" Carol said and making a cute face.
"Stop it, I don't know man. It's just Urgh nothing." Jack said and make a step to his class.
"Wait!" Carol said and Jack stop.
She take out a small notebook from her pocket and write her phone number.
"Here, you can call me if you stressed out or frustrated. I'm here for you. Cheer up." Carol smile and run to the class. Jack smile and look at the phone number. He then right down at the paper below the phone number.

He smirk and go to his class.

"Urgh I thought if I ask her to be my friend she will stop disturbing Scott. Bruh." Veronica said to Chloe after she saw Ashley help Scott to walk to the class.
"Hey V, you know what? I heard that they're neighbors." Chloe said and look in front. They're 10 steps away from the class so they need to calm down and keep their voice down or Ashley will hear them.
"But are you serious that they're neighbors? Do you know which one is her house in the neighborhood?" Veronica whispered and look at Ashley. Ashley was talking with Scott. She then look at Carol and Karen. Carol was talking with Karen and laughing.
"Hey Ashley!" Chloe call Ashley to stop her from talking with Scott.
Ashley look at Veronica and Chloe at the class door and walk towards them.
"Let's go skip class." Veronica whispers.
"I'm scared if we get caught." Ashley said worried.
"My dad can control the school remember? Let's go shopping." Veronica said to Ashley with an excited expression.
"C'mon faster before the teacher gets into the class." Chloe whisper.
Ashley run to the seat and grab her backpack.
"Where are you going?" Hayden shout.
"To the toilet." Ashley said and smile. She run outside and Veronica grabs her hand and run outside the school.
"Scott just look at her and shakes his head."

After school time, Hayden was walking down the steps and Karen run towards him.
"Hayden!" She lack out of breath and take a deep breath. Hayden smile and look back.
"What?" Hayden said.
"Let's go back together." Karen said and smile.
"Huh?" Hayden was puzzled but can't hide his smile. He accidentally liked Karen since they at the cafeteria. He found out that Karen is quite cute. She then grab Hayden's hand and go to Hayden's car. Karen was sitting at the passenger side and was looking at him.
"So where are we going?" Karen ask and put on her lip balm because her lips are dry.
"Wanna go to the pub? ." Hayden ask and smile.
"Wait what? But we're underage. Let's just go to the mall and have some drinks and we can go shopping too" Karen said excitedly.
"As you wish my dear." Hayden said then he blushed.
"You're funny." Karen said and grin.
After a short silence in the car Hayden feels awkward and start the conversation.
"Can I ask you something?" Hayden ask Karen. He was shy actually but to run from the awkwardness in the car he need to make up some questions.
"Yeah sure."

"Why did you ask me to go back with you?"

"I just umm... I just... actually... I liked you a bit."

"Seriously? But why?"

"You're kinda cute you know?"

"I am?" He look the mirror inside the care and smile.

"Thanks but since when did you liked me?"

"Since we're 13 and now we're 17 but I still can't move on." She said and put on a long face.

"Don't worry you're not alone now." Jack said that and kissed Karen on the lips. Karen was shocked but she like it. It's been 4 years she have waited for this. It's really payed off now. And then there's a car horned at the back. They doesn't see that the red light have changed into green. They laugh and Hayden drive to the mall.
