19. Emotional chapter

"Who's this." Carol ask Jack as he was fully recovered but his memory was still not recovered yet. Carol point at Hayden.
"Umm.... Aha. You're.... wait! You're....". Jack was still thinking and Hayden was waiting for him with a narrow eyes.
"I'm...?" Hayden ask Jack.
"Aahaa you're Adrian." Jack smile and point at Hayden excitedly.
Carol laughs and Hayden hugs him.
"You're so clever bro." Hayden pat Jack's back.
"I know right." Jack smirk.
"In your dream! Who the fuck is Adrian? I'm Hayden." Hayden push Jack's head and sigh.
"Oh haha I'm sorry. But it's still the same. Adrian and Hayden was not so different they're still ends with -en at the back." Jack said and look at Hayden.
"It's different!" Hayden raise his voice.
"No it's not." Jack still mouth-fighting with Jack and Carol cut them out.
"Stop fighting they're here." Carol said and point to Scott's car.
"Oh our friends?" Jack ask.
"No, they're just a freaking stranger." Hayden said at Jack sarcastically.
"Shut up." Jack push Hayden slowly.
"You shut up." Hayden crossed his arms.
"I said stop." Carol shout and both of them stand up straight.

"Get in." Scott ask them to get in the car.
"Let's take Karen." Hayden said after they're all comfortably sitting in the car.
"Oh yup where's the restaurant?" Scott ask.
"Near the public library." Hayden said and Jack look at him.
"Hey Sean drive quickly I need some space with this Hayden." Jack ask Scott to drive faster.
"Okay." He knows that Jack was still not fully recovered yet so he just agreed as he knew that Jack was talking to him.
"Who the heck is Sean?" Hayden raise his voice at Jack.
"Duh, the driver. Our friend. Remember?" Jack said like he's right.
"I know the driver is our friend but his name was Scott. Urgh please memorize our names okay?" Hayden move his sight to the window. Jack was embarrassed but still not gonna lose this debate.
"Whatever. I know that you're having a hard time but please don't get mad. You're scary." Jack elbows Hayden.
"It's up to me." Hayden stick out his tongue towards Jack.
"Go away." Jack said slowly and push Hayden.

"Yeayyy look who's that." Hayden shout as Karen gets in the car.
"Um who are you again?" Karen ask Hayden (it was a joke). Everyone was laughing except Hayden.
"Not funny." Hayden said because Jack was laughing silently and poke him at the back.
"She don't know you hahahahhaha" Jack whispers.
"Scott faster!" Hayden shout.

"Is that the Chloe that disturb us last week?" Jack point at Chloe and whispered at Hayden. Hayden nods.
"Yeah that's Chloe but she disturbs you?" Hayden ask and Jack nods.
"What is she doing here?" Ashley ask Scott because this is only a cheap fun fair so what's Chloe doing here.
"Let's go to some rides there." Scott points at the place that have roller coasters the pirate ship that goes upside down and others. They all followed Scott but Ashley said she was going to go to the toilet so Ashley run quickly and follow Chloe. She saw Chloe go to the tower that had a hanging bridge connect to another tower. The tower was quite high because the purpose is to make all of the people can look at the beautiful scenery of that fair. Ashley followed Chloe and they're both on the hanging bridge now. Chloe was standing at the reel of the bridge and take a deep breathe and she started to climb the reel.
"What are you doing?" Ashley shout.
"I'm done with my life." Chloe said and cry.
Ashley go near her and hold her hand.
"You can't do this." Ashley said and look down. She was scared of height. It was higher than she thought. She started to feel dizzy but still wanted to help Chloe even though she knows that Chloe and Veronica hates her but she doesn't want to watch both of them dying.
"Stop!" Ashley shout.
Everyone on the bridge was keeping an eye of them.
"Let me go. You're making it even worse." Chloe said and shake her hand to make Ashley let her hand off.
"Don't do this!" Someone was shouting below. They don't know who because they was focusing on each other but they heard them.
"Don't do this Chloe." The voice said and Chloe look down. It's Veronica.
"How do you know I'm here?" Chloe shouted.
"It doesn't matter." Veronica replied.
"Thank you for everything and Goodbye." Chloe jump from the bridge. Ashley's hand was sweaty so it was slippery and accidentally let Chloe's hand off.
"Got you." Veronica said slowly smiling and close her eyes. She caught Chloe because she quickly run into Chloe when Chloe was nearly touching the ground. Chloe is safe.
"Veronica wake up." Chloe shout as. She saw there's blood that runs out from Veronica's head.
"Don't do this to me. Veronica wake up." Chloe pat Veronica's cheek. "No no no you're safe you're safe." Chloe said slowly and cry.
"What are you guys looking at? Call the ambulance!" Ashley shout at the people who are looking at Veronica and Chloe. There's one man who quickly call the ambulance.

"What happened? I saw there's ambulance coming out from the fair. And why are you take so long to go to the toilet?" Scott ask Ashley after he saw an ambulance comes out from the fun fair. Carol, Hayden, Karen and Jack also saw the ambulance and was waiting for Ashley's answer.
"Let's go." Ashley start walking to the entrance because she wanna go to the hospital.
"Where?" Jack shout.
"To the hospital." Ashley shout and grab Carol's and Karen's hand.
"Why?" Hayden ask.
"It's Veronica who's in the ambulance!" Ashley said and it's making Scott goosebumps.
There's tears which coming from Scott's eyes.
"V-v-v-Veronica?" Scott ask. He felt dizzy. He can't believe what's he just heard. Veronica's in pain. He then run to his car. As everyone's in the car he drive swiftly to the hospital.

"Is there a girl who named Veronica here?" Scott go to the counter. His face looks pale.
"She's in the emergency room." The nurse said and Scott quickly run to the emergency room and left the friends.
"It's okay, I know he still loves Veronica." Ashley said as Carol look at her. Ashley smile but deep in her heart it was pain.
"Are you okay?" Scott shout as he enter the room. Chloe was looking at him and cry. "It's all my fault!" Chloe said and cry even louder.
"Where's Veronica?" Scott ask as his heart aches so bad after sawing there's a person on the bed beside Chloe but the person was covered up with the blanket. He don't want the person to be Veronica.
Chloe throw her head and looking at the bed. That bed which Scott was looking at.
"No!" He shout and cry loudly. There's some person who was watching at him.
"No Veronica wake up." Scott pat Veronica's cheeks and grab her hair. "Tell me you'll wake up." Scott said while crying.
"Stop, cover her back." A man said. Probably Veronica's father. Scott covered Veronica with the blanket and get out from the hospital and drive home. He left all of his friends and just go home by himself. Ashley just call the uber to take them home.

It's been 3 weeks since Veronica left them. Scott still not recovered from the trauma from Veronica's death. He still dreaming about Veronica. He missed Veronica's touch, voice and everything. Only he knew Veronica because he once dated her. Veronica's death was shocking all over the school. They still can't believe that a girl who was born to be super duper mean and bad was died because helping her friend from committing suicide. Chloe still can't go to school because she still can't move on from Veronica's death. Veronica's death has giving all of the school a huge impact.
