“Aaron, wake up! We just landed.”

I groaned, shifting in my seat as a hand viciously shook my shoulder.

“God, hurry up. People are staring.”

I slowly looked up, the bangs of my wig slightly obscuring my view.

Every single passenger in a three seat radius was staring at us for some peculiar reason. Was it because I had very girly facial features for a dude?

“You were sleeping on my chest,” Riley hastily explained. “And I think you wrinkled my blazer.”

Ohh, so they thought we were gay... awkward.

“Everybody! I have a girlfriend, I repeat, I have a girlfriend!” I announced in a masculine voice to the entire cabin.

There were a lot of hush whispers and a ‘shut up’ from an angry old man seated two rows behind us but other than that, the stares depleted.

“Gosh,” I mutter in my normal voice, settling back into my seat, “That was awk.”

Riley shook his head, “Tell me about it.”

We had just finished locating our luggages at the baggage claim when Riley spotted our driver clad in West Montgomery’s uniform while holing up a sign; Mr. Riley L. Colton & Mr. Aaron T. Burkley.

“Thats us,” Riley enthused, grabbing his luggage and lightly jogging over to meet our new chauffeur.

“Afternoon sir,” the man greeted, his golden name tag reading ‘James’.

“My name is James Goodwin and take you are Mr. Colton and that young man over there is-” he stopped and scrutinized my girlish face. “Mr. Burkley?”

“In the flesh,” I firmly stated, my fake deep voice pathetically cracking.

“Funny,” James mused, “You seem different than how the administrators and your application described you.”

I shrugged, “I get that a lot.”

James awkwardly nodded his head and gestured to the double doors of the airport.

“Shall we gentlemen?”

Taking a spin off greek and american architecture, West Montgomery consisted of tall, white columns and identical maroon bricks. Each building looked the same, the doors were all in the same spot as were the perfectly aligned glass windows. Each building had exactly fifteen windows, all the same shape and size, and they all appropriately faced the west hence the academy’s name, West Montgomery.

“So I already received this fat package of random crap and info,” Riley complained after James dropped us off in front of the school, “We have to check into our rooms now.”

I nodded, easy enough.

It was difficult locating our living quarters with so many identically looking buildings all placed in a small oval.

We finally found our building, the faded, black 6 was slightly tilted on the maroon bricks. Ah home sweet home huh?

The walk up the flight of stairs was tedious and the minute we arrived in front of our room, 226, I laughed in joy.
