13.The day before the race

It had passed about 2 months since that wonderful night and many things had happened and mostly nice things. After that night Simon and Daphne started dating so yeah they are official now. This news made quite a noise at first. Most popular girl in school with a normal boy and everyone was talking about that in the begging.It annoyed Simon a bit but it became old news later. Also Georgia found a new friend she can trust but of course she didn't gave up gossips. Gossip is her life. Tom started to get over for what happened between him and Daphne when they were younger. Sue has got a scholarship in Milano for 1 year of studying for fashion designer. It was hard for Tom to accept it first because long distance relationships aren't easy but Sue is really hopeful and says that everything will be OK even though she is going to miss him and as for Derek well he has been always happy. Now it's the day before the race. Tomorrow ends all of this. Simon was really nervous about what would happen there while Daphne was calmer and worried about what to wear at the party after the race.
"Simon don't be so nervous. I know that you are a bit worried about the race but I promise that everything will be alright. You are a great swimmer."
"Thanks Daphne but I can't help feeling like this. I don't want to disapoint my family,you and Victor. "
"What are you talking about Simon? I'm proud of you and so is your family. I don't care if you win or not. You will always be a winner to me. "
Simon couldn't resist and grabbed her and started to kiss her. They seemed so in love but so far none of them had said the L word even they were dating because both of them weren't sure how they really felt about each other.

"So Simon what do you think I should wear at the party the blue dress or the white one?"
"Maybe the white one. I don't really know. Why don't you ask Sue? She is the expert."
"Actually I think of asking Georgia. "
"You two have became really close right? "
"She's cool and funny. I really like spending time with her. I'm gonna call her now. "
After some time of asking for opinions Daphne finally decided for the white dress. Simon thought that all of this was just too much but these are girl stuff he would never understand.
"So I'm going now Daphne so I'm calling my dad. "
"Don't go. Can you...you know stay with me tonight? I'd love some company. "
"Are you sure? "
"Yes. Come on. I see your hands shaking all the time. You're really nervous. Maybe it's better to stay with someone tonight. "
"Okay then. I'll call my parents to inform them. "
"Okay. I'm telling the cook to make an extra plate for you. "

"Hello?"
"Mum?"
"No it's Alex. "
"Oh Alex. Where are mum and dad?"
"Out. I'm with Sarah. Is anything you want to ask?"
"No. Just tell them I won't come home tonight. I'll stay at Daphne. "
"Ohhhhhhh,you're staying at Daphne?
"Why are you talking like that?"
"You know exactly why Sim."
"God Alex. What the hell is wrong with you? "
"Just use protection bro. "
"ALEX!!!!!!!"
But she hung up. Well Alexandra loved teasing Simon. But this time she went a bit too far.
"She's going to be the death of me." Simon thought.
"Hey Simon. Did you talk to your parents? "
"Errmm yeah. They said OK."
Of course he wouldn't tell her that embarrassing moment.
"Okay great.Dinner is almost ready. Come on. I'll help you go downstairs. "
They went to an amazing dinning room with comfortable chairs and a nice table.

"Oh hey children. "
"Good evening Mrs Brawn. "
"Oh what a gentleman you are Simon. I have told you to call me Victoria. "
"Is dad going to have dinner with us?"
"Yes dear. "
Fred Brawn one of the richest man of the city and the person who organised the competition. Of course Simon had met him before but he was a really busy man so they never talked properly. He was really different from Victoria a really cold person. Simon felt comfortable with Victoria but awkward with Fred. Well he was dating his daughter after all.
"Good evening kids. "
"Oh dad. Hello. I missed you these days. How was Daniel? "
Fred visited Daniel more often than Daphne and Veronica.
"He's fine. I think he is getting much better honey. "
"That's great. I hope he'll come back home soon. "Said Veronica and a little tear fell from her eye. "Ok enough with words. Let's eat some pasta. "
Daphne sitted next to Simon and Fred next to his wife. At first they were eating in silence and then Fred broke the silence.
"So Simon. You're the guy who's dating my daughter. "
Simon didn't know what to say. So the only thing he said was :"Guess it's me."
"Great now he thinks I'm stupid. "He thought.
"Don't be embarrassed. I was just kidding. So you are in the swimming competition?"
"Yes dad. He has worked so hard with Victor. You won't believe what a awesome swimmer he is. I think winning isn't impossible. "
"That's good. And for college?"
"I'm thinking journalism sir."
"Oh that's nice. Daphne is thinking about it too. " said Victoria .
"So how are you both feeling about this?"
"I'm happy dad. Simon is a great guy. "
"Well if it makes you happy then I'm happy too sweetie. I have just one little warning for you Simon. "
"Yes?"
"Break my daughter's heart and I will break your face. "
Simon didn't expect that.
"Dad what is this? "
"Just a warning. I didn't want any comments. "
After dinner Daphne and Simon went to her room.
"Simon I'm sorry for what my dad said to you. "
"Don't mention it. I understand it. I mean I'm dating his daughter. It's normal to say those things. "
"Simon. You don't have to say that just because he is my father. "
"Ok. You got me. It scared me a bit. I don't think he likes me. "
Daphne started laughing with what Simon said.
"He'll get used to this. Don't worry Simon. Where I left my pajamas?"
Daphne took a pair of short pink pajamas and started to undress. Simon just closed his eyes.
"Simon it's okay. You can see. You're my boyfriend anyway. "
"Oh I thought..."
"I love when you blush. "
"Well I think I can't control it. So where's the guest room?"
"Guest room? Simon don't worry, you can stay with me."
"Are you sure about it?"
"I am. Come on. We have a big day tomorrow. "
"Don't need to remind me."
"I know we will be great. Just believe in yourself Simon. "
"Thanks Daphne. I don't know where I'd be without you. "
"Well probably not in my house. "She said laughing. "Let's go to bed."
Simon layed on the left side and Daphne in the right side. Simon then wrapped his arms around her body and put her closer in his chest. She wrapped her arms around him two. They were feeling just like one.
"Simon....I have to tell you something."
"Yeah?"
"I think I love you. "
"Oh. I think I love you too Daphne." said Simon while kissing her soft lips. Daphne grabbed him closer to her and started to kiss passionly and put her hand under his shirt and explored his body. Then she started to take off his shirt.
"Daphne. Do you want to do this?I mean if you aren't ready..."
"Shhhh Simon. I'm ready than ever. I love you. "
"I love you too. "

Ohhhhh things are getting hot lol.
