The things to look forward to

The Cleftomaniacs were all in the kitchen going through their mail and different programs of other acappella tournaments. Since they were suspended from competing the rest of the year, they had to find something else to latch on to, some kinda redemption act.

"Wow, you'd think they would've dropped the vag jokes and moved on already" Fat Amy stated irritably as she was going through some hate mail. "Has anyone found anything else we can do?" she called to the rest of the group.

"Well" chloe replied looking at a page she just took out. "There's this tournament where groups from around the world compete that we could try, it's also been dominated by that German group that took over our tour" she stated as she read through.

"Stole our tour" Cynthia Rose corrected. "And I think it's about time we gave em a taste of their own medicine" she followed, receiving nods and "hell yeahs" from the others.

"Hey, where did beca go?" the ginger asked after looking around and noticing she wasn't amongst the group.

"Up stairs in the shower" amy replied. "She had a run in with some armored truck robbers before she got here"

"If you wanna barg in her shower again I think we're good here" Aubrey remarked with a smirk, giving her bestie a creeping blush and posted fun from the others.

"By the way" Stacie added in. "How are you guys? If you don't mind me asking that is" she included.

"Really good" chloe smiled. "She said she would try and take a little break from being Spider-Woman when me and bree got back"

"Aw that's sweet" the brunette replied.

"I hope so" aubrey followed. "We're gonna need everyone we have to get outta this mess" she remarked.

"Hey" chloe placed a hand on her friends forearm. "We have each other and we're gonna be aca-awesome" she smiled.

"Hey guys" beca called as she walked in wearing a robe and drying her hair. "What did I miss?"

"Just that we were surprised that chloe didn't head up to join you" amy smirked. Chloe ducking her head in her hands.

"Yea I hafta admit I was kinda surprised myself" beca nodded in agreement.

"Well I was afraid ur spidey senses would give me away" the ginger looked up and smiled.

"Nah" Beca nodded sideways. "I just would've surprised you and made you squirm" she winked before she took a sip of her drink.

"I'll make a note of that" she nodded with a smirk and got up to exit the kitchen. "Plus" she leaned in and whispered to beca's ear before leaving. "You can always crawl and sneak ur way into my shower" she whispered with a wink before she left, receiving "ooooo" comments from the others as beca shot up her eyebrows and then everyone laughed.

"But no seriously," amy laughed. "We found this world's tournament that we may give a shot" she followed.

"Sounds good" beca nodded.

"Chloe said you were gonna take a break and help us out" aubrey pointed out. "Is that true?" she raised an eyebrow.

Beca gulped down the last sip she took. "I can't promise that, to you guys or chloe, but I'm gonna try" she nodded reassuringly.

"Ah hey" Stacie replied. "We all know you won't let us down" she smiled and everyone agreed.

It was now night time and chloe had gone to beca's room for Netflix and chill like they agreed upon. Also, to listen to some of the new mixes beca had made once they had enough of whatever shows the dj picked out. The redhead listened in aw as she let herself get lost in the songs created by her girlfriend as it played in her ears while they laid side by side on the bed.
