The second Gracie McCullian had disappeared, Gavin took another step toward me, orders continued to be taken, the business person breathing out what he had been waiting to say, and the mother and child quietly continued their journey to the counter.

I turned to the figure that was moving in the corner of my eye. Gavin. The lovely prick.

I shook my head of the thought of that but smiled anyways.

Gavin David Free taking one, two, three steps toward me. With each step he took my stomach turned and I dreaded. Why?

Unexplainable.

Someones voice tore me from my thoughts.

"Hey Mi-Coo."

"Shit Gav," I whispered, "you scared the shit out of me.

"But-but you were just,"he paused out of confusion and embarrassment. "Staring at me," he finished in a soft whisper.

Shit, he noticed! "Just daydreaming" I quickly lied. "Sorry"

There was a moment of silence. Gavin broke it by asking, "What ya doin'?"

"Just enjoying my tea. You?"

"Just about to grab some lunch before I head home for the day," he shrugged.

"Let me buy you lunch then. You know, to make up for the wallet," I quickly blurted out.

"Uh..." he said, "you sure? You don't have to."

"Yeah" I said standing up. "I know I don't have to but, I want to" I said quickly regretting every fucking word that had come out of my mouth.

"Oh," he said with with uncertainty. "Okay" Gavin flashed me a bright smile, showing off his white teeth all perfectly aligned. I couldn't stop myself from smiling as well.

"Where to Gavvy?"

"I was going to walk down the street to Papa John's three blocks away. There would be fine."

"No, no. There won't do." I said "Some where nice" I mumbled to myself. "Would you be okay with coming with me to my house to get something?" I asked Gavin.

"Sure," Gavin said unsure.

"I won't hurt you, unless you some how burn down my house." I joked. "Let's go to my car."

We walked to my car in silence.

-Later-

We got my house I unlocked the front the door and walked in. Gavin followed me in and instantly went to the couch in front of my 47" tv. I shrugged and walked to my room. I left the door slightly open so I could see Gavin and hear him if he needed anything. Luckily I did, because Gavin brought something up that intrigued me.

"What's your gamerscore?" Gavin half yelled. He must've seen my X-Box under the tv. I thought.

"A little over 250 thousand" I yelled back, "You?"

Gavin mumbled something that sounded like 500 thousand. I couldn't be sure, I really couldn't make it out.

"I haven't been able to work on my gamerscore recently though" Gavin said clearly.

"Why?" I asked curiously as I walked out with a plain white shirt under my unbuttoned white button up shirt. I started to button up my shirt before Gavin could reply.

"Oh," he replied, "I jammed a disc in my X-Box. I tend to slam shut the disc in the X-Box. It makes it load faster," Gavin replied to me.

I rolled my eyes and surveyed what Gavin was wearing. I walked back into my room before replying, rummaged through my clothes looking for a matching white shirt and a blue button up shirt. I walked back out and threw Gavin the clothes.

"Thanks" he said questionly. He asked where the bathroom was and I pointed to my left. He smiled and got up and walked to the bathroom to get changed.

I got my phone out and looked up directions to Pomme de Terre. Gavin walked out a minute later wear what I handed him and holding his clothes. "Just put your clothes on the couch, we'll come and get them later."

We were both wearing black jeans, sunglasses, a white shirt, and a button up shirt. Him blue, me white. I was also wearing a black beanie with the Achievement Hunter logo on it. Gavin had a nice looking watch on too. He looked great. Messy hair and all.
