Special Chapter 18: Gracie's POV

Throughout the year my little boy was with his 'Micoo', I've been watching. I would be watching from afar or be next to them but invisible. I have to let him go, one day. I did give Michael my blessing and I was happy. 

I watched Michael and Gavin say goodbye to Millie, it was so heartwarming. I knew that if Gavin and Michael adopted a child, they both would be amazing fathers.

"Shit Gav, I need to stop by my house. I forgot something." I heard Michael say as he turned onto Amber Wood.

"Cool." They both went into his house. Michael and Gavin both stood in the living room. "Aren't you gonna go get what you forgot?" Gavin laughed, it made me smile.

"No." Michael smiled and turned slowly in a small circle while saying, "Ladies and gentlemen. Four years ago, I met this young man and I fell in love with him." Even though it was just myself, which they didn't know about, himself and Gavin in the house he said this like they were in a restaurant. "We've been happy together for a year now. Thank you."

Gavin was laughing. "Very funny Micoo," and he kissed Michael. I had happy tears falling down my face, I was happy for my happy boy and my  soon son-in-law. Michael was also like a son to me since I started liking him. I wasn't happy when Michael first fell for Gavin because I wanted Gavin to myself. I was very selfish and didn't want to share, I wanted him mine and mine alone.

Twenty three years I watched Gavin grow and fall in love with Michael, who was about to comment to staying with Gavin until death do them part. If Michael hurts Gavin, he won't be seeing daylight again. So, to tell this I wrote him a letter.

Dearest Michael Vincent Jones,

I don't know if it will be Gavin or yourself walking down the isle, but I will be there. I support your relationship, you guys are easily the cutest couple I know. The trust you have in each other is so strong and the way you look at each other is a way I wish I could have been.

If you hurt Gavin Free you will not be seeing daylight again. You will be six feet under, rotting. (I say this with love, Michael.) Gavin loves you so much and I know you love him back just as much. Seeing Gavin happy again makes me believe that you are his light and you mean everything to him. You brighten his day and everyday he tells the ceiling fan in his room that he wished that you were right next to him.

It's not easy to put into words how happy I am for Gavin and you, Michael. You as my son-in-law, Gavin happily married to someone who makes him so passionate about someone. I love how your smile is contagious to Gavin and he will smile as soon as you do. His eyes light up the way they used to so long ago and the light is back, thanks to you.
