I wrote this at 3 in the morning. Don't judge.

I woke up and looked at my phone. 5:38am, Friday May 30th, 2014. Why am I up so early? I groaned and hopped in the shower. I got out, got dressed, went towards the kitchen.

I saw a peaceful sleeping Gavin Free on my couch. I smiled. And watched...on accident, I swear. The smile was plastered on my face, he was just to peaceful. I thought of waking him so, I looked at my kitchen clock and saw it was 6:01am and decided against it.

Gavin stopped breathing. His chest stopped steadily rising and falling, his soft breathing didn't fill the air.

"Gavin!" I screamed. Oh God, did he find out? How?! What the fuck? I made damn sure that he wouldn't find out. No one knows but me and -

"Why are you here?" Said a voice that was mine.

"Just as a reminder." I could hear the joy in her voice. "It's been long, Michael. How's it been?"

God, I hate you. I turned, "Oh, just swell," I snared.

Gracie looked so pleased with herself to say the least. She looked so happy at my annoyance. She was wearing a clear blue, transparent blouse with a white tank top underneath and white skinny jeans. Her hair was up in a bun and the right 'bangs' were tangling down in a mess of curls. She had no make up on except that skin toned cover make up crap on. Her feet were covered in light blue heels that made her two inches taller. I don't know how girls do it. Wake up, shower, dress, eat, make up, heels, go to work in less than two hours. Maybe not in that order or take that long or short but, still. It was crazy and painful. The thought of wearing shoes that make your foot at a 45° angle for hours upon hours made my feet hurt.

"Just a friendly reminder: let Gav know and he's a goner." She smiled.

"Don't call him that, Gracie." I demanded in disgust.

She left without another word and Gavin soft breathing filled the stale air. I sighed in relief of the nonpresence of Gracie. I went to the kitchen and started preparing for breakfast. Coffee and a lazily made bowl of cereal. I turned on my small, black coffee maker made by Hamilton Beach. I got a mug, filled it with water, poured it into the coffee maker, and put the mug under the dispenser. I got a bowl from the cabinet, milk from the refrigerator, and a spoon from a drawer from the island. I put everything down one after another and noticed something was missing.

The cereal.

I grabbed Fruit Loops off of the top of my fridge. I opened the box and the artificial smell of the 'fruit' hit me. All of the 'different fruits' smelled the same to me and tasted...anyways. I put the corn based morning meal food into my bowl, closed the box, and put it back in it's place. Then grabbed the milk, opened it, let the liquid fall into the bowl, closed it and put it away. I then went back to my coffee making process. I put in caramel frappuccino for my coffee, put down the thingy and pressed 'Ready'. The hot deliousness came out and ended with a squirting noise. I took my mug, brought it to the table went back, grabbed my spoon and bowl and went back to the dinning area.

"Hmm, smells good."

Without looking, I responded to a sleepy Gavin. "Morning Gav, whatever you see is yours."

"Morning, Micoo. Thanks."
