40. Date

As Kris and I got home, I quickly went to my room and scan some clothes in my closet for tomorrow. What should I wear? I took my black pants and a pink shirt. Hmm.. No. It's too plain. I toss it on my bed. I pulled up my white shirt. I shook my head and I toss it again on my bed. No. It's plain too. A black shirt? Uh. No. Then, I toss it again. A yellow shirt? Uh. No. Too colorful. Aish.

"Why do I only have shirts? I don't even have a proper cute clothes to wear for a date." I sighed by myself.

"Aaaaaaaaaish! I don't know what to wear for tomorrow! I don't know!"  I messed my hair crazily and sat down on the floor. What should I wear? Fei told me that I should wear a dress but.. I don't even have a single dress! Ugh. Wait! I should better ask Aunt Anne what to wear tomorrow. That's right. I should go and ask her now. 

I heard a sudden knock on my door and I stood up and opened my door. "Suzy?" It's Aunt Anne's voice and as I opened the door, Aunt Anne welcomed me with a wondering face. "Suzy? What's wrong? I heard you screaming by yourself? Are you okay?" She asked looking at me worriedly.

I smiled at her. "Uh.. I'm fine.."

"Are you sure?" She asked again and she looked at my bed. My eyes widened because of it. She saw my messy bed with full of shirts. "What's wrong? Do you have somewhere to go?" She asked curiously and I shook my head. "Uh.. No.. Well.. Uh.. I have somewhere tomorrow." I answered shyly.

I saw her eyes widened and her face lightened up. "Is it a date?" She excitedly asked me and I was surprised of Aunt Anne's question. I nodded shyly. "Uh.. Well.. Yeah.." 

"Omygosh. Suzy. You're going on a date with Kris?" She giggled and asked like a teenager. I just nodded shyly. "My son is really a grown man. I'm so happy~" She giggled and a blush crept into my cheeks. "Well, actually..I don't know what to wear for tomorrow Aunt Anne." I answered while looking down.

I was surprised when she suddenly held my arms and as I looked up, she smiled. "Don't worry about that. Leave it all to me..  I'll help you choose.. Suzy. And remember I gave you the key to the dressing room." She reminded me and I remembered what Aunt Anne said. The key that she gave me to that room full of dresses and attires.

"Let's go to the dressing room, Suzy. I'll help you choose." She smiled and I smiled back. 

"I-I'll just get the key.." I answered and she nodded in agreement. I turned around and took my bundle of keys. "Good then, let's go Suzy. I'm so excited for your date tomorrow.. I'll make you so pretty that my son will forget his name.. hahaha." She said like she's a teenager.

The following day.. I woke up remembering that today is my date with Kris.

Aunt Anne help me choose a dress last night. I looked at the dress hanging on my closet. It's a sleevless dress. The top is a blue denim while the white skirt is above my knees. She said that she'll go to my room to make-up me.
