I continued walking and Marcus smiled at me. God he's so cute!

We reached the fountain that Ellie was supposed to be at..... but she wasn't there.

"Marcus!" Someone yelled

We looked over to see martinus holding Billy but he was struggling. Ellie was there too.

"Look grace, my brother found him" Marcus said smiling.

"Yeah" I said looking confused as to what happened with Ellie and martinus.

Billy was not happy in martinus' arms. He jumped out and started to run away.

"Billy!" I yelled

All four of us started chasing after him. It was a nightmare

Marcus and martinus ran out ahead of us.

"Sorry grace" Ellie said.

"You messed the plan up! You were supposed to wait by the fountain"I said but it's not all bad. I got to talk to Marcus at least.

"I couldn't! That cat is mental!" She said. She wasn't wrong.

Billy ran into a huge bush. I have no idea how we're gonna get him out.

"It's okay! I'll get him" Marcus said diving into the bush. My hero.

We went and stood next to martinus. Ellie got super close to him. I just stood and waited for Marcus to get Billy. I wouldn't even dare go in to get Billy, that cat is crazy. There was a lot of screeching going on, I hope Marcus is okay.

Marcus came out with Billy in his hands. Billy was hissing but I'm glad he's okay.

He gave Billy to me and I started to stroke him and calm him down.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, where did you find him ellie? Grace said she's been looking all day" He asked.

Ellie looked at me.

"I found him... by the fountain in the park" she said then looked at martinus. He smiled at her.

"Thanks Marcus, you saved him" I said, looking up at him and smiling.

There was a moments of silence before martinus said

"Oh! Lindsay said she was looking for you and she's waiting for you on the pier"

My face dropped. He's still with her.

"Right. I better go" he said. He didn't look too happy about going.

"Sure, no problem. Thanks again for helping me" I said to Marcus.

"Yeah yeah it was fun" he said smiling.

"I'll see you later" he then said placing his hand in my shoulder before leaving.

I watched him walk away.

"Right, bye Ellie" martinus said.

"Oh right, bye" she said back smiling.

"See you later" he said. He was shirtless and I could tell Ellie was trying not to drool all over him.

Then he walked away as well.

"See you later, again" Ellie said disappointedly to me.

"We were really hitting it off" I said sadly.

Just then martinus turned back. Marcus also stopped and was waiting for his brother.

"Uh ellie.." he said.

"Yeah" she said trying not to be excited.

"Do you wanna go out sometime?" He asked her.

Ellie was smiling like crazy.

"With you?" She asked.

"Yeah with me" he said sounding nervous. They are so cute together.

Marcus stood there awkwardly and started scratching the back of his neck. I was so upset. I thought Marcus would break up with her. Why do I always end up feeling miserable. I wasn't listening to their conversation. I stood there holding Billy feeling glum.

We then parted separate ways and me and Ellie started walking home. He'll never like me as more than a friend. I have a huge crush on him and we spent time together yet he still runs back to her.
