After I went home I decided I would make dinner for us all ready for when my mum came home.

I began to cook pasta and I let Libby help. She just stirred the sauce.

Then I heard my mum walk in

"Hi! Thanks for looking after your sister. I had such a great time today" She exclaimed with a huge smile on her face.

I just smiled softly

I plated up the food and everyone sat at the table.

"So Grace, you have been so good lately with helping since your dad has gone so I'm ready to talk about this party you want" my mum expressed

"Oh I don't want it anymore" I said blankly.

"What?" She asked confused.

I sighed

"I want to go to New Zealand" I said

She sat up

"Where's this come from?" She asked

"Well I was thinking about it and it's a huge opportunity for dad! As you being his wife, I think you should support him" I said calmly. I think this is the best decision for me

Mum sighed.

"Your right" She said.

We continued our food and the day finished off just like the rest.

*the next day*

I have a lot of apologies to make.

But first I have to tidy my life up.

New Zealand is a brand new start for me so I have to stop being the weird silly girl I am now

I also thought about dying my hair.

I only dyed a small bit to test out the colour.

Now I'm going to take a stroll down the beach. It always clears my mind. I stepped onto the sand and walked to the ocean. I closed my eyes and let the wind brush through my hair. I looked down then turned around only to see him.

Marcus.

He was sitting down holding a notepad and pen. I went over to him.

"Hi" I say

He just stared at me closing his book

"I need to ask you something" I added

He continued to stare at me. Not saying a word

I sighed

"I don't blame you for not wanting to talk to me. I messed everything up with you and Dave and your brother. Especially Ellie. I guess I was just jealous and I really am sorry. What you said hurt but you were right. I just-" I said but he cut me off

"I broke up with Lindsay last night" he said

I paused

"Oh" I sighed

I sat beside him

"You know, I wrote a song about you" he started

I smiled

"Really?" I asked happily

"It's called bitch in disguise" he added

My smile faded.

Nice

"But, I do still like you. Even though you pissed me off I do like you" He said smiling

I shook my head

"No you don't" I uttered

"I do although your mad " He chuckled

"No I'm moving to New Zealand" I stated

His expression changed quickly

"What?!" He asked surprised

"What's wrong with you? Your so random" he added with a chuckle

"At first I didn't want to go but then my mum started acting weird around the builder who came to our house. I guess I just don't want my parents to split up" I mumbled almost starting to cry

"Hey no one does" his voice was so soothing and gentle

"At least your doing something about it. It's just a shame that- that your leaving" he stuttered.

I looked at him.

Being with him was so comforting. I just don't want to leave him.

Hey guys! Hopefully this story will be finished soon. I hope to get the new book out by christmas which is in 2 weeks by the way 😆 (I can't wait haha) I will start to update regularly to get it finished ❤️
