"He said he's happy you found Billy" she replied.

"Marcus needs to get to know you. So there is this party tonight that Marcus happens to be going to and I got us all invited" Ellie said happily.

"Aw. I got to go. Martinus is waiting for me. Bye" she said and walked over to martinus. They are so cute together.

"Omg Grace hide!" Sofía said and pushed all into the bushes behind a wall.

We were close enough to hear their conversation but so they couldn't see us.

"Did you see my goal in hockey today?" She asked twirling her hair.

"That's not cool Lindsay. She did nothing to you" he said.

"Okay you can tell me off and I won't do it again" she said tugging at his collar.

She went to kiss him but he turned his head away?!

He looked over to where we were so we all ducked down.

"Did you see that?" I asked.

"How could you not?" Bella said.

"She went to kiss him but he turned away! He obviously didn't want to kiss her" Sofia said.

"Grace?" Someone said from behind me.

It was Marcus.

Jesus Christ he scared me.

I turned around

"What are you doing down there?" He asked as we were on the floor hiding from him but I guess he found us

"Umm Sofia lost an earring" I said making up an excuse. But she was wearing them both. Bad excuse.

"She's wearing her earrings" he said.

"Uh it was another one?" I said.

He laughed.

He put his hand out waiting for me to take it.

I put my hand in his and he pulled me up from the floor

"Your crazy" he said laughing.

I just smiled.

Then Lindsay showed up

He looked at her then back at me

"See you later" he said. Then turned to walk away.

But Lindsay stopped him.

"Marcus, I owe grace an apology. I'm really sorry I tripped you in hockey earlier. You were playing amazingly. You should try to make the school team" she said smiling. I saw through it. Fake, lying bitch.

I looked back at Bella and Sofia. They were as confused as I was.

Of course Marcus fell for it.

"Wow Lindsay that's really cool! She's right Grace you should join the school team." He said happily.

He looked at Lindsay and smiled. He took her hand and walked away with her.

Lindsay looked back and gave me a look. A look that said "told you he's mine. He'll never have you"
