Another Chance

Chapter 3

Hermione did not know where to go. She could not go back to her parents. She found them, but her parents were happy and have another child coming. She did not want to ruin their life by letting them remember. Hermione went to the Leaky Cauldron to get a room to stay in. Hermione walked in and everyone there went up to Hermione to say hi to her. Since the war Harry, Hermione, and Ron became lot more famous. The owner of the Leaky Cauldron ran right over to Hermione and said,

"How can I help you?"

"I need a room. How much will it be to stay for a few weeks?" Hermione asked.

"Do not worry about the price. For you I will give you a discount." He said.

"No, you do not have to. Please let me pay full price." Hermione said.

"I insisted! You helped save the world of the Dark Lord. We all are all thankful for your bravery."

"Alright, but only because you are being so determined on letting me stay for half price. Thank you kind sir." Hermione said.

She paid for her stay and got her key. Then Hermione quickly went to her room to settle in. She could not believe that happened today. Hermione just started too busted into tears. After a night sleep Hermione would owl everyone and tell them where she is.

The next day came really fast and Hermione woke up by hearing a tap on her window. Hermione looked to the window and saw Harry's owl. She walked over to the window to open it. The Harry's owl dropped the letter and waited. Hermione grabbed the letter and it read,

Hermione,

I hope you are alright. I know it was just a day but we all are worried about you. Are you alright? Ron is just being a horrible guy. I know he is can go far but he went too far. But none of us know what happen. Hermione please come back and tell us what happened. We miss you!

Harry

Hermione had to reread the letter. She did not want to talk about it. Hermione grabbed his parchment and started to write back and it said,

Harry,

I am sorry but I am not coming back. I will see you at Hogwarts. I don't want to talk about what happen with Ron. I miss you all too. But Ron has gone too far this time. I am alright. Tell everyone else that I am staying at the Leacky Cauldron. I will be fine and I will be safe.

Hermione

Hermione gave the owl her letter and let him go deliver it to Harry. Hermione went for a walk around Diagon Ally to clear her head. Hermione did not know what to do about Ron. He really hurt her. She could not believe that he would say those things and argue with her on a sensitive subject.
