Another Chance

Chapter 11

Hermione and Draco stayed back after the feast to talk to McGonagall. McGonagall walked up to both of them and told them to follow. They walked down the hall in silence. No one knows what to say, Hermione glanced toward Draco. He just shrugged toward her.

"Professor, where are we going?" Hermione finally spoke up.

"Well, Miss Granger. Since you and Mr. Malfoy are Head Boy and Girl you get your own dormitory with a combined common room." Head Mistress McGonagall explained.

They got to a blank wall. There was no painting or door. Hermione was confused. How can we get into the common room without a passage way to get in?

McGonagall walked right through the wall. Draco and Hermione looked at each other shocked. They could not believe what they saw. Hermione went through next and Draco went after her. They stepped into a room with a beautiful fireplace. The room had all natural colors, it felt warm and welcoming. Hermione looked around and saw a small kitchen. She pointed it out to Draco and said,

"We get our own kitchen?"

"Yes, the reason is since you two might be working late on some of your Head duties that you might miss a meal; just in case of that one of you needing to make a meal." McGonagall explained. "If you would like to see your rooms, Miss Granger's is on the left and your Mr. Malfoy on the right. One more thing, you both are sharing a bathroom. I hope that is alright with you both?" McGonagall said.

Hermione did not say anything. Draco just nodded his head. McGonagall nodded and started to leave. Before she did, Hermione spoke up and said,

"Head Mistress, I was thinking. Since use eight years get to come back. How about the students that dropped out and waiting to come back get a chance? Shouldn't they get a chance like us?"

"I see where you are coming from. I like how you think. I shall owl the once that has dropped out that are not of age of 21 years old. I think that is fair, don't you Miss Granger?" McGonagall asked.

*Fred and George's POV*

As Fred closed up the shop he only could think about how lonely it was without Hermione. Yes, it was a busy afternoon but it was not the same without Hermione to him. There was a tapping on the window. Fred opened it to let the owl come in. He took the owl and the letter to his loft where his twin brother was.

"What do you got there Freddie?" George asked.

"I don't know. This owl just came," Fred paused looking at the seal that held the envelope together. He did not know what to say next.

"Freddie what's wrong?" George concerned about his brother. He got up from the couch slowly and went to his brother. George grabbed the letter from Fred's hand and looked at who it was from. The letter had a Hogwarts seal on it. George slowly opened it.

Dear Mr. Fred and George Weasley,

I would like to inform you that you are welcome to come back to Hogwarts School Witch Craft and Wizardry. As you know we have invited the last year seventh years back to Hogwarts and we would like to invite you back as well. It has regarded that you did not finish your school. It would be our pleasure to invite you back to finish your schooling.

"What are you thinking Freddie?" George asked.

"Well there are pros and cons of this. Let see, pro?" Fred asked.

"We get to graduate Hogwarts. Con?" George started

"We have to go to classes. Pro?"

"We can play Quidditch. Con?"

"We have to deal with the professors again. Pro?"

"We can make people laugh and we can buy Zonko's Joke shop from him. Con?"

"I have nothing else. It looks like we have more pro's then con's. It looks like we are going back to Hogwarts." Fred said.
