Chapter 36

Hermione smiled and everyone conjured some form of object. It was excited. Hermione always loved that her friends cared so much. Hermione took one present at a time. Everyone go her something that would describe her. Harry got Hermione a few old books that she wanted. Draco and some of the Slytherins put a present together and go Hermione a nice charm bracelet, each charm described Hermione. She smiled to them and put it on.

"Guys this is amazing. I will never take it off." Hermione told her Slytherin friends.

She gave them hugs. The next thing was from George and it was a journal just like they have for her own inventions for the shop. Hermione opened the book and saw there was a note in it.

Hermione,

You have been there for us since the beginning. No matter what you say, we all know that you were encouraging of our dream to open the joke shop. You helped up by being the stickler of rules making us think up more ways to break those rules without even getting caught. Since you joined our crazy jokester family we knew that we hit the jack pot. You have helped our business grow more than anything. You are a gem surrounded by diamonds. This is for you to start up your own invention line and improve some of ours. We can't wait to see what you create and inspire.

Hermione wrapped her arms around George and said,

"George this is the best. I can't wait to fill these pages with you two and combine our journals together."

"Combine them together? How?" Fred asked interested.

"I know a spell that could connect our journals together to be able to use them as one even." Hermione explained.

"Let's not talk business right now." Ginny stated.

"This is not business when you love what you do. It's just love of passion." Hermione said smiling to Fred and George.

Ginny rolled her eyes and handed Hermione her present. Hermione looked at Ginny confused. Ginny just grinned and said,

"Trust me."

Hermione opened it and saw a beautiful dress and looked at Ginny even more confused. There was a meaning to this present but she did not know what she had in mind. She had a huge grin on her face. I then looked to Pansy and she was grinning too. I just shook my head and said,

"You two worry me sometimes. But I love the dress Ginny. Even though I got nowhere to wear it."

"Oh don't worry you will." Ginny said smiling.

I sighed and just dropped the subject. I smiled to my friends and knew that was it but then Fred spoke up and said,

"The best for last."

He handed me a small box and I looked at him confused. I thought he was part of George's gift but thinking back that the note only was signed from George and possible Lee and Angelia. Hermione slowly opened the present and there was......
