Another Chance

Chapter 13

The whole Great Hall started to whisper about what they thought of what Hermione said as they went back to their dorms. Hermione waited for Draco and his friends by the Great Hall doors. Harry waited there with her. Harry walked up to Draco and stretched out a hand and said,

"Truths?"

There was a crowd watching Harry and Draco. Hermione stood there smiling. She was proud that Harry stepped up and took her words to heart. Draco look towards Hermione and she nodded in agreement. He accepted Harry's hand and said,

"Truths."

Ginny joined Hermione and Harry to the Head's dorm. Draco walked in with Blaise, Theo, and Pansy. They saw that Hermione was with friends. The Slytherins felt awkward but Draco walked right past them and sat right next to Hermione on the couch. Theo and Blaise joined them by finding somewhere to sit. Hermione looked at Pansy and said,

"Pansy you can sit down if you would like. Or you can stand in the middle of the hall and get ran over."

Theo and Blaise laughed at Hermione's remark. Pansy sat down on the floor across from the couch. The room went quiet for a while but Hermione spoke up finally,

"Really, do we all need to be so quiet. Theo, Blaise, Draco we were just talking not that long ago."

Draco smirked and said,

"Yeah that was before two more kittens had joined the party."

"Well are you worms going to be afraid of a few lions." Ginny said with a smirk.

"Alright guys. Remember what I said in the Great Hall. Do I have to lecture you hear." Hermione stated getting up and going to the kitchen.

Everyone started to laugh and they started to talk about the reactions on how Harry and Draco made amends. Hermione came back with some drinks for everyone.

"I have to say, Ron's reaction was the best of all. His mouth dropped to the ground and he had to pick it back up." Hermione said laughing.

"Oh my, Ron did not expect to see that happen. When he saw Harry walk up to Draco he thought that there was going to fight. So did everyone else." Ginny stated between laughs.

Theo started to mock Ron's reaction and got everyone else laughing. Hermione started to cry because of how hard she was laughing. The rest of the night went by great. Blaise, Theo, and Harry went back to their common room while Pansy and Ginny was having a girl's night in Hermione's dorm.

Draco went to his dorm room to leave the girls alone. Hermione started a fire and they started to talk about anything and everything. Pansy started to feel like part of the group. Ginny look toward Pansy and Hermione and said,

"Have you notice anything different about a certain Slytherin boy?"
