Why? Why is it that on my first day of that I have to have the most embarrassing thing happen to me of all people? And now just look at me. Standing in front of the entire cafeteria with my crotch covered in mashed potatoes, everybody laughing at me. But the worst part is, that wasn't the worst part of the day. The worst part was... well you wouldn't really get it. Here, let me take you to the beginning, you see, it all started when a mommy and a daddy loved each other very much... wait, no that's too far. Oh wait, here. It all started two weeks ago, when my family decided to move to LA all because of some stupid promotion that my dad got. And because of that, I had to leave all my friends behind. Sure we get to live in a bigger, much nicer house, but now I can't make any new memories with my friends anymore. And now I have to go through the pain of going to a new school halfway through the flipping quarter. I hate my dads boss with a passion. And ever since I got to this wretched place, weird thing have been happening. Like freaky weird. Like random people around me will just randomly faint, or have their shirts tear from no apparent reason. And that's exactly what happened this morning. There I was, walking to reception, minding my own business when I walk past this big guy who has a jersey with a bear on that looked really expensive, and of course, as I walk past, this nice, fancy jacket rips completely in half. Leaving this guy topless right by the school entrance. And of course, as I happened to be the closest person, he automatically assumes that I was the culprit who somehow tore apart his fancy jacket. And of course, within the next millisecond I was being pushed up against a locker with this big guys burly face right up in mine.
"What the fuck did you just do to my football jacket?" Said this person, who seemed to be a football player.
"U-uh-uhhh, I-I-I did-dn't do an-n-nyth-thing." I oh so obviously stuttered .
"Well nothing doesn't do anything to my jacket. Get me a new one by the end of today or else." He spat.
Well, I guess I know where my newfound allowance will be spent. He let me go and, to show he was such a nice person, he gave me a little punch in the stomach as a little gift. And there I was. Winded on the ground of the hallway outside of receptions office. Fun times.

It took me about 5 minutes to get myself off the ground and into the office, where I received my timetable and was sat down to be talked to by the deputy head. He pretty much just told me about the school and stuff. I wasn't really listening, my throbbing stomach called for more focus. He kept talking until about 5 minutes after the school bell rang. And then he lead me to my first lesson of the day. English. Room C13 on the third floor. Wow this was a big school. He told me to wait outside while he talked to the classroom, but waiting outside didn't really  help me from not hearing what he said.
"Now listen here kids, I don't want any of you chasing away another new kid okay? No more of this stupid initiation stuff okay? If any of you are found putting this new kid through initiation, you will be expelled."
Well that's a warm welcome. He opened the door and let me through. He told me to introduce myself. And so I did.
"Ummm... hello there everybody, my name is James Springs. Ummm... don't do that initiation thing to me, whatever it is. Um please?" I said nervously.
A few guys started chuckling and the teacher told them off. The teacher then introduced himself to me as mr Powell, head of English and sports. I then sat down at an empty desk in the third row. The guy to my right looked pretty decent... but he was kind of odd. He kept on staring at his stationary with a vacant look. Almost as if he was trying to do something to it.
The girl in front of me seemed more interested with what was on her phone than what the teacher was saying and the guy to my left, well he seemed like he would be spending his free time in a dark ally, bullying some poor kid out of his allowance.
I turned and faced the teacher who talked about finite verbs for a minute and then he just suddenly stopped talking.
"Run." That was the only word that left his lips. And it was barely a whisper. But it certainly got everyone's attention.
"RUN!"
