Chelsea sat at her mahogany stained, wooden desk. Staring out of her office window she found it difficult to believe that she'd been working with young, pregnant mothers, helping them find loving families for their babies, for six months already.

She absolutely loved her new job, especially the feeling she experienced when seeing a loving couple with their precious new baby in their arms. It was an emotion that she never grew tired of. She had already helped countless couples make their dream of having a family come true. If only she could one day have a family of her own... It was her greatest desire, one which she kept well-hidden deep down in her heart. She knew that God had a plan and refused to stress over it. She needed to wait on His timing.

It felt like only yesterday when she was sitting in Hank's bookstore, buried up to her eyes in research books, trying to find her passion. Only yesterday that God showed her to give Hank and her a chance.

She picked up the framed picture of Hank displayed on her desk. He was so handsome and so incredibly loving. She'd lost count of the many hours spent at A Little Piece of Heaven, poring over nearly every book on her reading list, spending hours and hours with Hank. He made her laugh so hard, she snorted.

Being in his company felt so natural, never an uncomfortable moment of silence or fear of saying something to offend or upset him. Their conversations flowed and they had so much in common that it sometimes scared Chelsea, afraid that they would get bored of one another.

At first, after God had revealed that Hank was who He had chosen for her, Chelsea found it uncomfortable to simply 'let him in'. However, as time went by, she found that time spent without Hank was pure torture for her. She longed to be near him. She couldn't explain it, but if she was a cat, then he'd be her human. He wouldn't own her, but she was better being with him.

Hank knew, when he initially confessed his love for her, that Chelsea was guarded and cautious of getting hurt again. His love for her consumed his every thought, often finding himself smiling for no reason at all. She was all that he could think of. He is so afraid of scaring her away, but he knew deep down in his heart that she was the only woman for him. He'd never felt like this about anyone before and he loved every moment.

She had explained the situation with Jonathan and Mila to Hank. Each detail of their affair and deception that she shared, helped him understand her more. And the more he understood her, the more he fell in love with her. He made a vow to himself never to hurt her and to always remind her of just how important she was to him. He vowed to love her every day for the rest of his days.

Being with her when she realised her passion in A Little Piece of Heaven meant the world to him. It was the moment when he knew that they would have an incredible adventure together. The moment he knew God had prepared him for her.

As soon as she left his side that day, he'd phoned the florist to put a plan into action.

The next afternoon Chelsea's doorbell rang and she was greeted by a delivery man and a dozen long stemmed yellow roses. She was so taken aback that she asked him to please confirm the recipient and address, convinced that he was at the wrong house.

After confirming that the roses were indeed for her, she signed the delivery sheet and closed the front door. She lingered for a short while in the entrance hall, smelling her gift and wondering who it was from.

She walked to the kitchen, found a vase and proceeded to carefully arrange her flowers. Her smile never left her face. She searched for a card or clue as to who had sent them.

She found the card and gently retrieved it, careful not to damage any of her roses. She slowly opened the card and was pleasantly surprised by its sender and message.
