This is a dream.

This is a dream.

My brain is probably playing games with me.

Yes. Its must be.

I pinch myself again. Harder this time, but still nothing.

I don't exactly know what I'm expecting. Maybe to wake up?

But this isn't the point, i feel like this is real.

No more alcohol.

This is real.

This isn't a game.

It's real.

My heart falls to the pit of my stomach.

I walk back out, towards Sam who is talking to Mason.

"Sam!" I yell through the loud music, she looks at me confused. I groan, as i push past the crowd, dragging her with me, it takes all my strength to push my way out, until we reach a corner where it's much more silent.

"What's wrong?" She asks, as she studies my face, i avoid eye contact, as i bit on the inside of my cheek.

"Answer me. Is Niall alive?" I ask without hesitation. She searches some expression in my face, i don't know. But she doesn't find it. She runs her finger through her hair.

"How did you know?" She asked, eyes slightly widening.

So he is.

"I bumped into him." I tell her, her mouth agape, and a gasp leaves her lips.

"He's here?!" She asked, with an unreadable expression. I swallow hard and nod.

She puts her index finger up, telling me to stay put, she escapes through the crowd and comes back with Mason.

"Where's Niall?!" She asks him, he stares at us confused like we've gone insane, and i probably am.

"I don't know, Seattle?" He shrugs, Sam sighs.

This is infact not a dream.

"Why what's wrong?" He asked.

"He's here." I tell him, his eyes widens, and i chew on my bottom lip.

"Tell me. Why doesn't he remember me?" I ask, almost sounding as if I'm sad that he doesn't, but maybe i am. Maybe i want him to remember how he loves me.

Sam's POV

I pace back and forth, trying to contact Skylar, but it just sends me to voicemail. Something bad happened, the monitors connected to Niall started to beep out of control, it went a blur, all i remember is being pushed out of the room. Skylar need to know this. A doctor comes out of the room with a sour face, and my heart pounds.

"The patient is in a critical state he's in a coma. The impact of the bullet caused a problem with the brain's functioning, he lost all his memory. Amnesia is what they call it.." He says, my heart stops.

"How long will it take before his memory comes back?" Mason asks.

"Amnesia isn't curable, but it has process. It could take weeks. Months. Years." He stated, i drop down on my knees as i still tried to dial Skylar's number.

The doctor, leaves without another word. When i get to voicemail, i throw my phone on the wall as it collapses and breaks.

Skylar's POV

Its hard to process this all in my brain, right now it can't function. I hear my own heavy breathing, as my head pounds louder. Guilt runs through me.
