I could hear heartbeats, not mine though. The sunlight shined down on my face, so i was forced to open my eyes. My breath hitches, i was laid down ontop of him. Niall. While his arms securely wrapped around my waist. I could hear my subconscious telling me I'm pathetic and this is wrong, and she's right, this is wrong. I gently push myself off him, good thing his a heavy sleeper. I crept out of my room, a shriek leaves my lips in surprise as i see Sam stood there, drinking a cup of coffee.

"It's like you've seen a ghost!" She laughs.

"When did you get here?" I ask her.

"About an hour ago, why? Wait Mason took me home last night cause i couldn't drive, so how did you get home?" Sam raises an eyebrow bombarding me with questions.

"Well, Jason insisted, i agreed, but Niall.." My voice trails off, her eyes widens.

"What?! Niall offered you too?! But Rachel was there!" She shrieks, i cover her mouth, shushing her.

"Why are you shushing me?" She asks.

"He slept here." I breathed, her mouth agape.

"What??" Was all she could say.

"I don't know what to do." I sighed.

"Where?! On the floor?" She asks.

"Uh. Beside me." I breathed, a loud gasp leaves her lips and i cover her mouth once again.

"What are you going to do?" She asks me, as she sat on one of the counter chairs.

"Avoid him.. Look i don't know why, but i don't want him to remember me, or forget me either. But i just know its my fault we're in this state." I sighed.

"Hey, it's not your fault. It's Josh's don't blame yourself." She says, rubbing my back.

"I'm just going to move on and live." I sigh, she nods proudly, as the door to my room opens. I look behind me seeing Niall yawning.

"Hey." He smiles.

"Well good morning." Sam says, i force a smile as i excused myself to go to the bathroom. Avoiding him won't be easy, i love him. It's hard to avoid someone you can't hardly breathe without. I walk out the bathroom, to see Sam cooking pancakes.

"Where's Niall?" I ask.

"He left." She just says. To be honest, my heart broke, maybe i didn't want him to leave, maybe i wanted him to remember me, and go back to the way we used to be.

But wake up, that isn't going to happen.

"Oh." I simply say.

Sam and i both talked through pancakes trying our best not to make a sharp turn to memory lane, after the talk, i realized that maybe moving on isn't easy, but not impossible. Small steps first. Sam left for band practice which somehow led me thinking about how Jason acted with me, even if my memory was a blur, those scenes where pretty clear. I hear a knock on the door, which brought me back to reality.

"Hey!" He says, as i swing the door open

"Jason?" I asked.

"Hey." He says, smirking.

"Shouldn't you be in band rehearsals?" I ask him, he chuckles.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Sam got you fooled with that Band Rehearsals shit? Band rehearsals are only on Tuesday and Friday." He laughs.

"Then where is she then?" I ask, allowing him in.

"With Mason." He shrugs, oh. Why would she lie about such a simple thing?
