lay close attention to the stars & the clouds-five

why does no one lay close attention to the stars and the clouds?
they are a supporting character, for that's how they are bound
the story of the sun and the moon against their wavering arms,
and the cloud would run along too soon and leave the stars with charms

why does no one pay attention to the stars and the clouds?
for when the dim lights go, the stars shine ho
and behold the pale white clouds, off they go

I wouldn't consider them loving together,
but is it just sad?
they are clearly best friends forever
and clearly, God is mad
why did he created creatures forbidden from each other's love?

like how he made the wavering as it goes the season
but I do believe,
that God made it that for a reason
