Your parents kept secrets. I mean, whose parents didn't? It was usually a part of human nature to keep a few things to yourself. However, most of the secrets wouldn't be life changing...or life destroying.

When your parents approached you that fateful day, you didn't expect anything. Heck, you even stood up to hug them since you hadn't seen them in a while. Your mother shared a glance with your father,

"(Y/N), you may need to sit down for this. We've got some news that you need to know about."

You sat in the chair across from them as your father took a deep breath and looked around the entire room...anywhere to avoid your face,

"(Y/N), dear, you're about to turn 18! I am proud to see you grow up to be the beautiful young lady that you are. Now, you know that Beacon Hills is riddled with all types of supernatural creatures."

You nodded your head as you tried to work through what he was saying. Of course you knew about supernatural beings. Your best friends were all werewolves, and you even knew about the growing threat that the Ghost Riders were proving to be.

"Well, you know that we are hunters."

Oh, little problem. You were cousins to Allison Argent. Thankfully your family had made a pact with the pack, but it grew very strained when Allison met her untimely death. You leaned in closer as your mother took over your father's speech,

"We never told you that most of the supernatural threats that have visited Beacon Hills are after you. There is something special in your blood. We don't know what it is, and we tried everything to get rid of it when you were younger. Nothing worked, so we brought you here. That way, no one would notice that the threats were drawn to you."

You took a few moments to digest this information before your father blurted out, "To keep you safe, we've arranged a marriage between you and Jordan Parrish. It will be in the next few days. Then, we are getting you out of this town as fast as possible."

The only thing you remembered was the scream that erupted from your throat before you ran out of the room.

~~~
You ran to the only house where you knew you could talk. When you burst through the door without warning, you didn't expect what came next.
You heard a yell from upstairs, followed by a series of frantic chaotic sounds before a door was thrown open. Fast foot falls sounded on the stairs before Isaac appeared...wearing only a towel around his waist. It was a struggle to raise your eyes to meet his agitated ones,
"Damn it, (Y/N), you couldn't have knocked?"
You darted forward and threw your arms around him. He immediately encircled his arms around your waist as you clung onto him and sobbed into the soft skin of his bare shoulder. You hugged him like he would be the single thing that could save you from the terrible fate that you were faced with.
When you had finally composed yourself enough to pull away from him, it was immensely tough. It was like a magnet was trying to pull the both of you together. You had noticed it for some time now, but you didn't know if Isaac did, too. It broke your heart all over again as you realized that it didn't matter anyways.
"Well, are we just going to stand here or are you going to explain why you went total "Cheap Romantic Drama" scene on me?"
You paced in front of the couch as he sat down and stared up at you with pure curiosity, "I'm getting married to Parrish in a few days."
You snuck a glance in Isaac's direction after you said it. He had a playful smirk on his face, "Oh, come on. This isn't a time for jokes. What's really wrong?"
