You had driven to Scott's house in your grief, and once Melissa saw you, she wrapped you in a hug and moved you inside. She made coffee, sat down beside you on the couch, and commanded, "Tell me everything." With a strained voice and an entire box of tissues, you explained the predicament.
She looked away, "The little prick... Ok. Thank you for telling me, and I'll see what I can do." You held out a hand to stop her, "No! No it's ok. I just have to let it go." Scott and Stiles ran downstairs, "Hey, mom, something wro- oh god. (Y/N), what happened?"
You waved them off, "I broke up with Isaac when I found that he had been cheating on me with your ex. For some reason, he's back at his old house. That's where we had our fight. I guess it brought up old memories. Please don't mention this to him when he comes here tonight." Stiles performed a few sloppy karate moves, "If he even tries to come near my sister, he's gonna get some of this!!" You cracked a smile, and your brother jumped up, "YEAH! I made her smile, 5 points to Stiles!!"
Scott had crossed his arms and quickly turned to the door, "Speak of the devil..." A knock sounded on the door, and the two boys gave you reluctant looks as Melissa shooed them upstairs. Yet, on second thought, she motioned Scott back down. She pushed her son down to sit by you, made him put his arm around you, and told you to lean your head on his shoulder.
Scott shifted into a more comfortable position as his mom turned on the TV to show a romance movie, and ran to the door when a more persistent knock sounded. You laid your head in Scott's lap just as Isaac sauntered in. He looked stressed, but that was quickly replaced with confusion, and then anger.
"What's this? Have you been cheating on me too?" You sat up as Scott pulled you closer to him, "No, Scott was just comforting me after I cried for an hour. Problem?" Isaac ran a hand through his hair, "Scott, can I talk to her alone?" Scott smirked, "If you're saying it to her, then why can't I hear it? I'll be able to eavesdrop from upstairs anyways." Isaac rolled his eyes, "Please? It's been a long evening." Scott surprised you by planting an encouraging kiss on your forehead before bounding upstairs.
Your recent ex sat across from you, immediately turning nervous when you calmly changed the TV from a romance movie to a brutal murder film. You smiled at Isaac tightly as fake blood sprayed on the screen, "So? What's there to talk about?" He looked at you with tears in his eyes, "I'm so sorry. I kind of had some feelings for Allison, and even danced with her during that insane glow party. I know you remember that, because you kept looking at us while you danced with Scott. You deserve so much better than me, and I understand if you don't take me back, but I wanted to give you this."
He held up the teardrop necklace, "Allison thought it was pretty and put it on before I could tell her what it was. She was the first person I called; I'm so sorry (Y/N)." You reached out and grabbed the necklace, rubbing the still-warm stone between your fingers.
"Have you done it with her before?" He looked down, "Once, maybe twice I don't know. They were moments I didn't really value, so I don't really remember them." You stared at the TV as more blood sprayed across the camera. Isaac winced, "I have a feeling that's going to be me, isn't it." You sighed heavily, "Bypass all of the small talk and pleasantries. Do you want me or her? I can tell if you're lying."
He looked you straight in the eyes, "You. She was just a few different moments of weakness for me. I wasn-" You shushed him, "Don't explain. I don't want to hear it. I'll forgive you, but it'll take time to recover, alright?" He nodded, and hesitantly moved to sit by you. Still ever so gentle, as if a single wrong movement would cause you to leave, he hugged you.
You two watched the rest of the violent movie, and he commented, "So, I'm glad to know that isn't me on the screen anymore." You smirked, "Nope. It's Allison." Stiles yelled from upstairs, "No, it's Derek!!" Both Scott and Stiles ran down the stairs and dove onto the couch next to the two of you. Scott took one long look at Isaac before laughing and retorting, "No, it's you Stiles!" The tension in the room left as you all started naming who would be which character, and soon Isaac became more relaxed as he realized that he was forgiven.
